The guy was just sneaking a hug probably.
In the video, does one of the dead nords head explode in place of the axe?
Any word on a special or collectors edition or anything?
by the way, the scans in the OP disappeared. here, I still have them.
Is character customization confirmed?
It seems like since they've already given him a name and a story there will be less room for it in Skyrim.
For the last freaking time, Title =/= Name.
And what do you mean they've already given him a story? You mean the whole "pimpslap the dragon invasion" thing? It's probably going to be just as urgent as the Oblivion Crisis, which wasn't urgent at all. Sure, you'd see Oblivion Gates on the side of the road, but it never meant that you had to hurry up and end the main quest. Same situation here, you'll run into Dragons during your travels, but it won't mean you need to haul ass and stop Alduin from eating your harem of nord bitches.

but since dragons will suddenly appear and destroy villages, we'll probably have to dragonhunt pretty often.
You make it sound like being a dragon hunter will be boring at some point.

I did? sorry, but I hope they make it different every battle, like different places, terrain changes some battles a lot.

I think the devs said that the dragon behavior is totally dynamic.

bethesda sure knows how to stitch together a story out of fucking nowhere

or you could just let the villages get fucked and continue on your merry way until you feel like hunting one

Does that mean you can train them as pets? I want to ride a dragon and fuck up some villages.

If they did, then I just got even more hyped :v:

you CAN do that, but you'll find yourself pretty limited when trading things and all that, good thing there's fast travel :v: , or did they remove fast travel? :ohdear:

This will help you.
Make sure to put a cult in where they go "God hates dragons" in some protesting chant and we see a sequence of events with a dragon burning them down.
i cant fucking stop watching the trailer, its so awesome
is the full theme released?
I'd love to see the trailer in a movie theater. On a screen that big with booming sound :aaaaa:
Bows look a whole lot more fun this time around, and daggers seem to be much more effective for stealth kills, so they finally have a use now. :buddy:

I'd do anything to watch it in Imax, and when he Does the dragon shout, a cold, bitter wind fills the theatre.
Trailer is so cool :fappery:
[sp]In Morrowind, the "major boss" is a god, right?
And in Oblivion, Mehrunes Dagon is pretty damn big, and you might as well consider him a god...
Well, I've been doing some research, and apparently the Wall that you see in the trailer is "Alduin's Wall". Alduin is the Nordic god equivalent of Akatosh. AKA, a dragon.
dun dun dun Alduin is the wall, alduin will be last boss, dun dun dun.[/sp]
Yeah I think so too. "Oh we had put lots of time and money in the development of a super-advanced life-like AI but then when it was done we decided not to use it and instead of just limiting it we completely removed it and added in some braindead shit instead".
Wow the AI in oblivion was pretty fucking advanced when it wasn't in combat
Look at each individual npc; they actually have jobs, schedules, and eating habits. It's really no different from the initial e3 presentation except they don't interact with eatchother nearly as much.

We already knew this. Alduin the world eater is a big evil dragon.
There needs to be lore books on the Elder Scrolls.
I hope they don't immediately give us fast travel, There is no point in a big open world when you can just warp between cities missing 90 percent of the stuff unless it's quest related.
Morrowind did it good with boat and silt strider travelling for cash.
Just like for Oblivion, I won't be able to play this game for years until I get a computer that can run it cheaper....THE AGONY.

I'd be nice if they'd contain more useful or practical information, though.
Would be cool if you'd have to, you know, buy and read a few books to learn interesting things about the game world. The book stores always seemed sort of tacked on.
Books need to give skill bonuses and contain tips and tricks more often.
For example certain books in morrowind discussed the weaknesses of different enemies.
For example the dwemer steam powered murder machines are very very weak to ice because it cools down their steam.

Fast travel is confirmed, but I hope they at least refine it. I hated the fact that you never ever had to walk to any cities, ever in Oblivion.
I don't so much mind the fact that you can fast travel back to places you've already been, but I think it should be like Fallout 3, wherein you need to discover everything before going back to it. This should include major cities, you'd have tpo make at least one journey to each city before you can fast travel to it.

The AI itself wasn't particularly advanced. They were given a series of specific tasks, this stuff wasn't really dynamic.
I'd be more impressed if each NPC would have variations in their days activities, they'd go to lunch late, maybe pick a particular restaurant/bar to go to on that day, work more some days and work less others, etc. It'd seem more organic.
To be honest, I'm glad they are adding some "generic NPCs" this time. I thought the fact that everybody had a daily schedule was pretty stupid in Oblivion, considering there were so few people. They put too much emphasis on making each npc "unique" and they ended up having sparsely populated towns with a pretty boring set of people. They should just have more people this time, and focus on making the cities seem more populated/lively. I don't give a fuck about what time somebody decides to take a crap at night, especially if I'm not around to see it. It's just a waste of resources giving everybody unique dialogue and daily activities. There should be 10-15 "unique" people to each town, then there should just be a bunch of generic pleb-rabble to take up space in the city streets.
For the people who think the dragon's movements are un-natural, how the fuck would you know? You ever seen a dragon fly?

Who's even said that?
