About Deja Vu, I really hope it won't ruin this game for me.
It has happened to me several times!

Oh man i just had an idea.
Run around a city and put flame traps outside people's doors at night.
Watch them all burn

I'm probably misinterpreting your post but I don't know what the heck you mean by that. :psyduck:
well from what you said, I'm assuming you consider Might and Messiah to have failed in some degree like that, and I agree, but giving them the chance to fix that problem, as I imagine they're doing with Skyrim as we speak, your issues will likely be fixed.

Ah, okay.
Well, it wasn't necessarily an "issue" in Dark messiah, so much as it was just a gameplay quirk. I mean, Dark messiah is just that sort of "linear action rpg" sort of game and that's why it was fun. DM style combat can be applied to skyrim, but I'm just hoping it won't detract from classical TES Style NPC-PC equality. I'd don't want to be kicking hundreds of enemies off cliffs as if I'm the only person capable of kicking people or picking stuff up.
It may sound difficult and even scary at first to have NPCs telepathically hurling barrels at you or kicking you down into rocky ravines, but I think it'd make for pretty awesome gameplay, albeit quite challenging. But if your opponents are competent and dangerous, it makes smashing them with hammer even more satisfying :v:
I'm still waiting for this thread to only speak in dragon tongue.

I'll study dragon alphabet and maybe one day i'll be able to be the OP, I'll post the OP entirely on Dragon Alphabet :v:
I really don't want to spoil the game with any pre-release leaks or videos when the time comes, but I know I will anyways..
Fus Roh dah is my new alarm clock, I wake up instantly.
So will they reveal more information at this year's E3?

Dovahkiin is not a Scout.
That's all information you'll need.

Have they even said if we can kick?
Have they even said if we can kick?
I don't see how it would fit in, at least not in Dark Messiahs form. Unless theres a kicking skill :v:
But I do hope hand to hand is vastly improved. Would be awesome if you could get kicking skill tree options, and maybe at a high skill/perk level learn some Akaviri style kickboxing shit and dislodge some people's necks. I will not feel hand to hand/unarmed is adequate until I can spinning heel kick somebody in the head :colbert:

If they made hand to hand more interesting than just smacking the enemy in the face a few times I'd do a hand to hand run on the first go.
If nothing else, do something like CQC from metal gear for some kind of "special attacks". Nothing irked me more in fallout than punching someone in the face in vats and watching them just stand there with a gun out pretty much just going "ow". I want my blows to actually have force behind them and to actually throw my opponent etc.

Agreed. Maybe no blowbacks with punching, punching could be the fast attack, whereas kicking could be the slower (but more powerful) alternative. I'm sure they have soemthing planned, static-looking weak ass punches will look out of place when compared to the new combat animations..
A punch could just be a fast jab sort of thing (or haymaker for the power attack) whereas kicks could be the basic snap kick, and then a spinning heel kick for the power attack. it may not sound like much, but a well placed heel kick will blow most people off of their feet. The weight and force behind a powerful kick could rival that of a hard strike with a sledgehammer (but with a softer hitting surface obviously)
I loved the hand to hand combat variety in Fallout 2, it's an isometric game, but they knew what to do. A system like that in Skyrim would be awesome

Yeah and we should be able to flip all over the place and when you punch all your enemy's fatigue out, you get a voice that tells you to FINISH HIM and then you can dragonshout so hard that he explodes.
Edit: In seriousness, I don't have high hopes for unarmed fighting :saddowns:
Dark Messiah did not have excellent combat. :colbert:
Dark Messiah had THE BEST combat.
Dark messiah sure had great combat. But in my opinion nothing will beat the combat in Mount & Blade.
So Why do Dragons hate our Guts?

Dude, I have this too and I have no problem.
I hear FUS ROH DAH and I wake up instantly, pumping from energy, and shooting a blast of cum from my dick (It happens automaticly, I hear FUS ROH DAH and BAM! Cumshot! Hole in the wall!) I rip off my shirt as it hurts, and my beard grows.

Second manliest comment on the internet, right after everything related to Robot Unicorn Attack.
So Why do Dragons hate our Guts?
They don't. They're just doing their job. Somone's got to destroy the world to make way for the next kalpa.
Unless of course, the narrator in the trailers was talking about a literal "defeat," where the Nords went and beat the crap out of Alduin's servants in the past. If that's the case, things just got personal.
Where's the source that Arkane Studios is doing the combat?
I want a light blue t-shirt that says "POP CULTURE REFERENCE" on it.
I'm gonna get a mod for that shirt for my second playthrough.
Even if I have to make it myself, but it can't be THAT hard

On Arkane studio's website it says something about them working on a project with Bethesda IIRC

And then ten seconds later your computer is on fire.

Yeah, that's computers for ya
good, now we know all the races are playable again, can't wait to see how they will look in skyrim!
