So, gaming magazines have it that the gameplay is extremely simplified compared to Bioshock 1/2. Less and uncreative powers, no mixing powers with Elizabeths powers like said in E3, using the powers not necessary at all. Yes/No?
Streamlined yes, not simplified. They left in the actually useful powers, so that boils down to what you like; I personally never used the weirder plasmids in BS1 and 2 so I think they made the right decision here. The game is fairly easy so yeah, you don't NEED to use your powers but playing around with them is just so much fun, you'd be doing yourself disservice not using them. Don't know about that mixing powers part, but Liz can use tears to get you ammo, salts ("mana/mp"), health packs, cover, different weapons and automatic turrets, mechanized patriots and flying turrets. So I guess there's no mixing involved.
Did anyone buy the Collector's Edition or whatnot? If so, please PM me. Cheers.
i bought this yesterday and i can only describe it as something truly amazing it feels like i'm in a drug-induced haze most of the time, perhaps brought on by the otherworldly and dreamlike state of the world, and this is combined with combat that has oomph and weight to it
Bucking Bronco alone is one of the most useful powers in the game, IMO. But... how the hell do you perform vigor combinations?
I guess, but the game is still fucking amazing. [editline]27th March 2013[/editline] How do I get the soundtrack? I want, but cannot find it anywhere.
They'll most likely release it later on down the track. I got it with the Ultimate Songbird Edition, and it's glorious, I can't stop listening to this. I read in one of the loading screens that you can use Murder of Crows and Devil's Kiss to make flaming crows. Not sure about any others, though.
I know this has probably been brought up a hundred times already, but I'm not satisfied. I really wanted the chance to [sp]throw a mach 5 baseball at that announcer's face.[/sp]
Out of all the complaints I've seen, I think I'm the only one who really wants to know what the hell "salts" are. I just think of bath salts and think that maybe Booker is high just running around Florida shooting innocent people.

[editline]27th March 2013[/editline] also, console commands. I wish someone discovered them already, because I assume they are in the game. Fooling around with them is a ton of fun.

I can imagine noclip would be amazing in this game.

The phrase "Test your salt" comes to mind, but i'm not sure if I'm right about it.

"a : an ingredient that gives savor, piquancy, or zest : flavor <a people…full of life, vigor, and the salt of personality — Clifton Fadiman>"
Yeah, something like that. "a : an ingredient that gives savor, piquancy, or zest : flavor <a people…full of life, vigor, and the salt of personality — Clifton Fadiman>"
Zest, that's the word I was thinking of. It's obvious how it matches with vigor as well.
Listening to the music is one of my favorite things about Bioshock. "Another bride, another June Another sunny honeymoon Another season, another reason For makin' whoopee." :v:
The statues box comes in a bigger box what do with bigger box
[sp]Apparently at some point it comes up or at least hints that Columbia inspired Andrew Ryan to create Rapture in some way or another. People were saying that with Comstock dead, and Columbia non-existent, Rapture never could've came to be.[/sp]
Is there any way to find out how many lockpicks you're holding without actually going to a locked door or picking up another lockpick?
I've heard that they wanted to make a lot of sequels, kind of like what Rockstar North does with GTA, but it's likely a rumor. Only time will tell if Irrational wants to make more.
Sorry to quote from an old post, but where on earth (slight semi-pun intended) are they going to put it? A miniature city? On the Moon? Were running out of mad places to put a city.
The code "0451" will forever be embedded in my head. Deus Ex, Bioshock, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, AND this. It's probably in other games, too, but these are the ones I've seen it in. Guess it's a reference to Fahrenheit 451.
A civilian before the raffle mentions how ridiculous people on the moon would be.
Forshadowing? EDIT: Hit me with your optimistics!
A city in the moon would be crazy in an awesome way. In the end the protagonist could [sp]visit Columbia and go "A city in the sky? Ridiculous, why not just go to the moon"[/sp] tagged becaus it could spoil infinite to some? i guess
Is that... Beach boys? For some reason i really love the use of the word Gay to mean something happy, "Columbia's Gayest Quartet".
3rd or 4th mission spoiler in relation to above. Not at all story based, just cool. [sp]When you're on the boardwalk above the beach I remember thinking the instrumental in the background was "Girls just want to have fun".[/sp]

Oh god, why can't it be tomorrow already. Going to stay the 4-day weekend at my parents' house and that's where my fairly powerful desktop pc is, waiting for me to replay Bioshock Infinite! [editline]27th March 2013[/editline] what a username :v:

What would happen then? Or did they just steal it from one of an infinite number of universes where that song exists? Would it only alter that timeline?[/sp]
