Bioshock Infinite Thread V3 Booker DeWitt in Wonderland

The ending really confused me.
These are all huge spoilers so dont check unless you beat it.
[sp] How was booker comstock? Why was it such an issue for comstock to be alive when he wouldnt have been in Bookers universe? How did Booker even get into the universe where he was comstock? How the fuck was both booker and comstock living in millions and millions of worlds at the same time?[/sp]
[sp]Wouldnt booker not exist in any comstock universes since he was comstock, and vice versa? Why did all the elizibeths die? Wouldnt they exist still because they only killed 1 booker out of infinite?[/sp]
I feel like I missed out on some explanation.
I will say you will get so much more out of the ending if you played the two previous, actually having played the two previous is pretty crucial to understanding the ending. Although for the entire game before the ending, then no, there is basically nothing linking the previous games to this one.
You really only need to know how Bioshock started, that's all.
God damn, that [sp] jump scare in the wardens office... I never expected that![/sp]
Had a shotgun when that happened.

Not really. [sp]A big part of the whole infinite realities deal is that there are constants across all of them, and those constants extended BEYOND the lighthouse, or plasmids/vigors. It helps to know a lot more about Bioshock 1 to understand FULLY Infinite.[/sp]
The rambling snack machine saunters on, killing his victims his victims without mercy, only to acquire the minerals of their pockets
Also, I kinda wish they went into more detail about Songbird...
Story DLC perhaps?

[sp]Did they actually literally say he was Comstock though? I thought it was more of a metaphor where Elizabeth was saying that Brooker was as much a bad-guy as Comstock because he gave away the child, and it was therefore better to drown Brooker instead because a person like Comstock/Brooker would always end up existing in every reality no matter what anyway. AKA killing Brooker was the logical choice because it was actually he who started the turn of events leading up to Elizabeth almost destroying the world and Comstock came in later[/sp] This is probably wrong though as I lost track of what was happening around this point in the ending.[sp]Especially with Comstock dragging Elizabeth/Anna trough a fucking portal, what the fuck was that about?[/sp] I actually think the writers might not have a full explanation either because this sort of confusion always happen when a story pulls the time-travel/parallel-universe thing. :v:

[sp]Booker IS Comstock, he took on the name Zachariah Comstock in the alternate reality where he accepted the baptism[/sp]

[sp]He grew into Comstock. So Elizabeth (Anna) was actually his daughter. Although we never find out who the mother was. Killing Booker at the baptism literally stops Comstock existing.[/sp]
[sp]Booker IS Comstock, he took on the name Zachariah Comstock in the alternate reality where he accepted the baptism[/sp]
That actually clears up a lot of questions I had about the ending, thanks.
[sp]So, when Booker was drowned, that killed off Comstock, but did it also kill of the first Booker, and therefore Anna/Elizabeth?[/sp]

[sp] How is there only 1 booker? They say there are millions and millions of universes and bookers/comstocks, how did killing 1 make all that happen?[/sp]
Second question.
[sp] Is this how Comstock knew the future until his death? Because it was constantly happening over and over? Booker would kill Comstock, then BECOME Comstock, and then would be killed by Booker?[/sp]
endgame spoiler
[sp]no booker you are the comstock
and then booker was the comstock[/sp]
Just bought it. Couple questions. How long is the game and how's the difficulty?
[sp]So, when Booker was drowned, that killed off Comstock, but did it also kill of the first Booker, and therefore Anna/Elizabeth?[/sp]
[sp]No, there's an after credit scene showing Booker waking up looking at Elizabeth/Anna, the idea is that you've wiped away Comstock from every existence, and by doing that you also wipe away every Booker who was filled with guilt and chose to go through the baptism.[/sp]

The game is probably about 10 and a half hours on average, some people take their time and go to 14ish, some do it in 8. I played on medium which was pretty easy except for certain points.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK, ARE YOU SERIOUS?
I KNEW IT, FUCK, I hit escape by accident during the credits.
That makes the story [sp] from almost going down that convuluted time/multiverse shit, the biggest plot hole devices known to writing [/sp]

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK I missed that...
STUPID STUPID STUPID I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE SKIPPED THE CREDITS
[sp]That being said, its nice to have a happy ending[/sp]
/v/ is having a huge meltdown over the game. :v:

I did it in 10.5
I'd say about 10.5 myself. My steam library said 13, but I left it on the main menu for a bit.

well
[sp]the after credit scene is a bit silly in that they cut off the camera just before you get to see if anna is in the crib, after booker displayed concern to go check if she was there or not (presumably more memories mixing through timelines keeping him aware of this, a sort of baptism after all in that everything was solved. you can infer that anna IS in the crib, because it is making sounds as if it is being played with[/sp]

[sp] And in this new world, she'll grow up as a fat, ugly woman.[/sp]

And now I don't care.
Also here's a video of a pretty silly bug i encountered:
Was trying to kill a Handyman by kiting him on the skyline, after about 10 times of him failing to shock me off the thing he just though "fuck it" and decided to simply stand still, blocking the skyline completely.

Was a pretty smart Handyman too, he pulled this shit two times.

Handymen had really smart AI aside from this bug.
They were fucking relentless.
anyone else notice an occasional bug where elizabeth's body would spaz out for a brief second when entering a new location?
