English isn't my first language, is that the reason I don't get it or I'm missing some game element?
[sp]The Letuces have a quote referring to the different worlds/timelines. Rows in one timeline, doesn't row in one timeline, will row in one timeline. They use it at least two or three other times throughout the game; dead, not dead, will die, and etc.[/sp]
Wouldnt it be great if the season pass added some content from [sp]other versions of Columbia? Like the before Elizabeth went to the "Alive Lin version", or before she made you into a Martyr. Or even like half the stuff they showed before the game came out[/sp]
"Getting her to run was the hardest part. As a first person shooter, you don't usually realize that you're sprinting at roughly 50-60 miles per hour."

Same with the patriot.
Shoot its gears for more damage!

shock jockey traps work well, they freeze for a good five seconds or so
before i go on any further, [sp]i'm about to go into comstock house but i found a vox cipher book a bit earlier hidden somewhere, can anyone tell me where the corresponding code was or whether its in/past comstock house? elizabeth did a cipher at some point inside an office area inside the bank, but the objectives menu still shows the optional quest to find the code[/sp]
Just finished it. This fucking ending is getting my head twisted up.
So if I got it right, [sp]Booker gave away his daughter to pay his debts, and the lutece twins bought Anna/Elizabeth from him to give it to Comstock. Later on, Booker goes from the baptism, renames himself Comstock, funds Columbia, and uses the tear experiments to retrieve his daughter from himself. And it goes on and on and on until eventually a version of himself shows up and stops it all.[/sp]
[sp]Booker gives away Anna after declining to be baptised. In an alternative universie Booker accepts the batism and becomes Comstock, but due to messing with timey wimey stuff he only fires blanks, so he then goes to the timeline you play in, becomes the man Booker gives Anna away too and the returns to the Columbia he built. Somehow Booker ends up in Comstock timeline/universe and then begin game[/sp]

They do that on Easy, even. You have to distract or stun them first if you want to hit their weakpoint of the gears, that's how they're designed. [sp]Unless it's the final battle, they're too distracted in shooting the ship's siphon to care much for you usually so it's a perfect opportunity.[/sp]

The only moments when I actualy managed to shoot the patriot in a gear was during an... ok, lets just say during the tower defence mission. I felt like I actually achived something in life, it was glorious to se them die so fast...
Does anyone have a screenshot[sp]of the big daddy and little sister in rapture?[/sp](massive spoilers) I would really like to see it.

[sp]Its implied that the giant red light-portal shit at the lighthouse is what caused it, thats why Booker doesnt know about Columbia, it never existed, but by ringing the bell on the lighthouse it opens a tear which he shoots through and enters the Comstock Universe[/sp]
Can someone explain how I'm supposed to fight Handy Men? Like, how exactly did the designers intend for me to fight them?
Is there a vigor that actually affects them I'm not using or a gun that does more than almost no damage?
Same... just got to my first fight with one on hardest difficulty and its as if you are guarunteed to spend 3 lives just trying to kill one (aka $300). Doesn't help l iterally right after that they throw you into (YET ANOTHER) hard boss encounter in the same vein of the battle with slate's goons.
I've found the only thing I can really do is just constantly jump around the hooks until my shields recharge before getting one or two hits in with my revolver that do almost no damage then immediately doing it all over again, repeat for 10 minutes. Tried shooting lightning but it didn't seem to do anything. I know my other stuff won't do much either because "boss enemies" aren't affected by half the powers in the game..

[sp]I thought the giant tear that opens in your office to the Luteces was the transition. Where you stumble on the docks while they carry you to the boat[/sp]
I just entered [sp]Comstock House.[/sp] I'm guessing I'm near the end now?
I also just had my first handy man fight on hard difficulty.
Yeah they can go fuck themselves. How am I supposed to shoot its heart when I'm forced to keep running away like a bitch?
Also are they the Big Daddies of Infinite? It would seem so, but they seem nothing like the Daddies :(

Honestly? I found Slates goons fairly easy. I had to run back to grab medical kits though, and to kite the patriot around a little.
So wait is the [sp] tally board and coin all the attempts/times a Booker has flipped the coin implying the "twins" went to times Booker entered into the timeline to complete the mission but kept repeating until this booker finishes it?[/sp]
The handymen are a bit disappointing in this game. They're not nearly as charismatic as the big daddies [sp]and you only fight like, 4 in the entire game[/sp]

Oh, right, [sp]and I guess you are brought to the lighthouse of the Comstock timeline because of the Luteces, which goes with that one record of them saying that they should get rid of the girl[/sp].

Handymen are not supposed to be big daddies though, they are just mini bosses. The songbird is supposed to be the big dady.

Ugh I hate fighting patrots because of this. They have a gun that shoots 200 rounds in a single clip and about 8 rounds are enough to kill you with shields upgraded signifigantly.
You are garunteed to spend all your ammo trying to kill one because nothing you do really damages it, and it's only weakness is always facing away from you, even if you manage to run away and hide because it always knows where you are. Again, an enemy that takes me 10 minutes to fight because my only way of beating them is hit and run, and even then I almost always die at least twice trying to kill it. It's no SO bad if there are skylines around but fighting one indoors is hell. And no matter what the dude is always facing me no matter where I'm at so I can't hit his weak spot in the back. The only way i've been able to get around back is by using shock jockey and then immediately runnning around blasting the gear for one shot before I have to run away because as soon as he gets out of that short 2 second stun (1999 mode maybe?) he does an AoE attack that annhilates me.
Does bucking bronco work on larger/miniboss enemies? I never use it because it just seems like a more shit version of murder of crows, but if it actually works on large enemies (MoC does not) then I might have to use it for them.

I always used possession to possess a guy or turret near a patriot, which would distract the patriot and let me get behind him.
So to make it short, [sp]Lutece is at the center of all this. She discovered Quantum physics, interdimensional travel, found out about her own male self doing the same in another reality, and used this knowledge to pretty much fuck up every single dimension ever by inter-connecting them[/sp].

Patriots don't take that much punishment on 1999. With a sniper rifle, two headshots and a few to the chest will take it down just fine.
You know you can just possess the patriot, right? Then it'll dispatch everyone while you run behind it and unload into the gears.
Also Bronco isn't a shit version of Crows, what are you talking about
Bronco people into the air, Devils Kiss them and BOOM.
Everybody is dead.
Bucking Bronco is like my most used Vigor. It's so cheap to use and yet very useful.
I just entered [sp]Comstock House.[/sp] I'm guessing I'm near the end now?
Does the disagree mean that I'm not near the end? Roughly what percent would you say I'm at?
Where does [sp]the baptem happen though ? It doesn't seem like a place you'd find anywhere. Did Booker have a vision of New York burning back then too, and when he became comstock in that timeline he decided to bring it to a reality ?[/sp]

I'd say 75%. The toughest has yet to come.
By the way [sp]the boys of silence barely make an appearance and that's disappointing as fuck[/sp].

Damn genius
Too bad possession uses up so much of your bar, and if its a grunt there's (obviously) going to be more grunts near by so that grunt won't live for long.

It's like inFamous but with fire.
Someone's probably already mentioned it but anyone else see that Deus Ex reference? [sp]While heading to Comstock house, the code for the elevator is 0451.[/sp]
