Also Bronco isn't a shit version of Crows, what are you talking about
Bronco people into the air, Devils Kiss them and BOOM.
Everybody is dead.
Crows does the same thing though with effective infinite range, damage over time, and the added bonus (with my aid) of turning anythign that dies with a crow effect into a crow nest trap. Which is amazing for crowd control.
seems some people are a bit confused about [sp]when booker sells anna to cumsock. anna is born AFTER the baptism, not before. Here's an explanation,[/sp]
[sp]Booker-A goes through with the baptism and is "born again" as Cumsock. Booker-B (the one you play as) goes to the baptism, but says fuck that noise and dips out. Booker-B marries (or I assume he marries) and has anna, but loses his wife during childbirth (assumption).[/sp]
[sp]Now suffering with the depression of losing his wife, raising a child alone, and still bearing guilt from his time with the Pinkertons he falls into heavy drinking and gambling thus getting into deep debt. This is what leads him to selling anna when the Lucetes bring him Cumsock's offer to clear away his debt completely.[/sp]
[sp]Afterwards as shown near the end of the game you try to get anna back and encounter Cumsock and the Lucetes leaving, anna loses her finger etc. It's after this when the Lucetes come back to you with an offer to get your daughter back, but after jumping universes your brain makes up memories as to why you're going to Columbia and it settles with "get the girl, clear the debt"[/sp]
While it was an amazing game, and story-wise it was one of the best i've ever played, there are a few minor things I'm a little disappointed with [Possibly Minor Spoilers]:
[sp]1. The Siren and Boys of Silence were made into single-level bosses, instead of something you encountered throughout the game like the heavy hitter videos suggested
2. There seemed to be not too much about Columbia being an extremely patriotic place. I thought everyone would be going on about how America was the greatest place ever or something. There was also fewer controversial things than i expected.
3. Tears were pretty much irrelevant and lacked variety, other than a few story-crucial ones.
4. Not many interesting things were done with the SkyRails[/sp]
Other than those small things it was a really good game. But that [sp] Bioshock Infinite - Columbia, A Modern Day Icarus Video didn't seem to be answered, which was disapointing. [/sp]
Also, at the start of the game, [sp] Who killed the guy in the lighthouse and put the notes on the things?[/sp]
Crows was honestly my favorite vigor and I didn't really use any other one with exception of Devils Kiss and Undertow. [sp]man it was fun knocking enemies off their gunships[/sp]
Though during the last battle I couldn't hear anything [sp]other than the screams of the enemies being attacked by crows since there were so many crow nest traps it was impossible for them to walk without being unscathed[/sp]
I used possession way much. Glad people have different favorite vigors though, means there are a lot of different play styles.

Ohhhh okay. Thanks for clarifying !
Soooo I think I almost fully understand the ending but I am still caught up on something...
[sp]Booker sold his daughter Anna away to Comstock to cover his debts from gambling. Right? So why is he going to Columbia to wipe his debt away by retrieving Elizabeth if he already wiped them? Or did that have something to do with that quote about the mind making memories when none are present?[/sp]
[sp]I'm not 100% sure what was the purpose of all the different Anna's drowning Booker/Comstock. Was it just to wipe everything that happened? Like Columbia, all the stuff that happened to Anna, etc?[/sp]
this game is a laggy piece of shit for me and it makes it impossible to play. i hope they find a solution for it because running 60 frames per second or whatever and then entering a room that suddenly turns the game in to a slideshow is the biggest turn off ever
also oh my god, the bloom. THE BLOOM
i want to enjoy it so much because it seems really interesting but i haven't even made it to the girl yet because the game is so unplayable
I used possession way much. Glad people have different favorite vigors though, means there are a lot of different play styles.
I used almost only Devil's Kiss and Shock Jockey. :v:

With the Bronco chain upgrade, and the Storm gear which causes Bronco, Devils Kiss and Shock Jockey to chain after a kill, the combo I mentioned can put down entire crowds in a second.
Bronco also has a fairly long range and does it's effect to everything in the line, cover or no.
Just finished Bioshock 1, moving on to Infinite

[sp]Originally the Lucetes told you how to get your daughter back, but upon traveling through to the Columbian universe Booker's brain made false memories as to why he was there and formed that he was hired to find Elizabeth to clear his debt. The Lucetes knew this would happen and rolled with it with the notes at the lighthouse etc to further strengthen those memories.[/sp]

[sp]From what I understand, the Lutece's felt guilty for taking Booker's daughter and giving her to the religious zealot Booker (Comstock). So they concocted a plan to give her back to the Booker that denied the baptism, and would also wipe his debt in the process.[/sp]
Personally my favorite Vigor so far is Shock Jockey. Love baiting enemies into trip fields I make with it.
[sp]I'm not 100% sure what was the purpose of all the different Anna's drowning Booker/Comstock. Was it just to wipe everything that happened? Like Columbia, all the stuff that happened to Anna, etc?[/sp]
[sp]Pretty sure that during the whole like 'flashback' ending, the last scene where Booker's in his apartment before he opens the door to the baptism area, he says that he wants to kill Comstock. like go back in time to smother him while he's a baby. Elizabeth asks him if hes sure he want to do that, and he opens the door. So pretty much it is wiping everything that happens. [/sp]
[sp]which is also why all the Annas/Elizabeths just say smother before they drown him[/sp]
Just finished this game. My god, GOTYAY.

[sp]Yeah Booker mixed up his memories, hence why his nose is bleeding when he enters Columbia[/sp]

I like possession usually in games but the fact that it costs so much and that it doesn't last forever against the most useful things to possess make it something that I usually forget exists.
Posession is probably amazing against firemen and such, does it work on them?

Holy shit I had no idea bronco chained with storm
Great now I'm gonna have to start using bronco lol because I love using storm
HOLY FUCKING SHIT [SP]THE BOY OF SILENCE POPPING UP BEHIND ME AFTER THE INTENSITY OF AVOIDING THEIR GAZE SCARED THE ABSOLUTE SHIT OUT OF ME[/SP]
[sp]From what I understand, the Lutece's felt guilty for taking Booker's daughter and giving her to the religious zealot Booker (Comstock). [sp]But his debt was already wiped when he sold Anna. He was probably knocked out by the Luteces and brought to the lighthouse, and when he was sent to Columbia through interdimensional travel, he made up memories of how he got there in the first place[/sp]
It's like inFamous but with fire.
Someone's probably already mentioned it but anyone else see that Deus Ex reference? [sp]While heading to Comstock house, the code for the elevator is 0451.[/sp]
"I didn't ask for this"
[sp]Originally the Lucetes told you how to get your daughter back, but upon traveling through to the Columbian universe Booker's brain made false memories as to why he was there and formed that he was hired to find Elizabeth to clear his debt. [sp]Why exactly did he need to make false memories though? What happened to the real ones? I mean why doesn't he remember himself paying off his debts by selling Anna? When did he get brought into the Columbia universe?[/sp]

That would make more sense then.
Also, to be honest, the Hand Cannon is probably the first pistol I used seriously since the Magnum in Halo 1.

What, [sp]the racist portrayals of every single "race" apart from the pure white Christian man, the way they treated the Irish and black people, the paintings depicting them as the devil and that shanty town wasn't enough? Do you need them to start wearing leather boots and caps and start going "heil hitler" everywhere?[/sp]
[sp]Of course nobody in Columbia went "America is awesome", because they seceded from it.[/sp]
Also, one thing that kind of confused me.
[sp]In the First Lady airship, when you explain to Elizabeth that you're taking her in exchange for your debts. She cries and hits you.
You literally just explained the same thing to her a few minutes ago in the cable car.[/sp]
[sp]Why exactly did he need to make false memories though? What happened to the real ones? I mean why doesn't he remember himself paying off his debts by selling Anna? When did he get brought into the Columbia universe?[/sp]
[sp]Where there are no memories, the brain will try to create some? When he steps through the portal his life in that universe pre boat his life is not lived. So he makes up some stuff to fill the gap of his life between baptism and rowing boat.[/sp]
