[sp]Why exactly did he need to make false memories though? [/sp]
Remember the quote at the beginning of the game? [sp]The brain makes up memories for when there aren't any.[/sp]
[sp]Why exactly did he need to make false memories though? What happened to the real ones? I mean why doesn't he remember himself paying off his debts by selling Anna? When did he get brought into the Columbia universe?[/sp]
[sp]When he took the rocket. It's implied ringing the bells created a tear, and his nose bleeds shortly after. At the end of the game you can see the Luteces dragging him to the lighthouse.[/sp]
Also, one thing that kind of confused me.
[sp]In the First Lady airship, when you explain to Elizabeth that you're taking her in exchange for your debts. She cries and hits you.
You literally just explained the same thing to her a few minutes ago in the cable car.[/sp]
[sp]You told her freeing her was to pay your debt. Booker told her she was going to be given freedom and brought to Paris like she always dreamed. Breaking her from Columbia and turning her loose to do as she pelased When in reality, you were bringing her to your client in New York, thus she was upset that you had lied.[/sp]
[sp]Not to mention she hardly knows you, and if you lied about Paris, she could only imagine what other things you aren't telling her.[/sp]

[sp]I think he partially remembers at first. He says his wife died in childbirth, but when Liz asks him if he has a daughter he says 'no'. Whether this is because he remembers selling her, or for some other reason, I'm not sure.[/sp]

[sp]Oh right, I forgot they did that[/sp]
Did they know what they were building up to back in the Bioshock 1 and 2 days?[sp]If so, I wonder if Bioshock 2 in a different timeline than the one in Bioshock 1. Granted it's been ages since I played either of them, so I'm probably talking out of my ass.[/sp]
My biggest complaint is not making Booker look like the crazy old man from the concept art book.
[sp]Oh right, I forgot they did that[/sp]
[sp]I'm even pretty sure the lighthouse was never ransacked and the keeper never died. Booker probably made up that part to justify the fact he found himself in a fucking rocket going to a town in the sky.[/sp]

Technically, they were building up to nothing. [sp]Rapture has no place in Infinite's timeline. That was just a funny cameo.[/sp]
Although I did shit my pants [sp]when I showed up in Rapture. Like, this big-ass smile appeared on my face. The memories, man...[/sp]

[sp]Nah, bioshock 2 is pretty straight forward, and the follow-up to the first game.
It would be fucking amazing if System Shock was actually in the same set of dimensions too[/sp]

[sp]I thoght she realized what you meant, and she smacks you in the face with the wrench from BioShock/System Shock which I thought was cool.[/sp]

[sp]I like to think that the body of the songbird was probably found by the scientists in Rapture and that's what helped them create Big Daddies[/sp]

That's because you [sp]clearly set your road to New York while you were telling her you were going to Paris[/sp].
[sp]Originally the Lucetes told you how to get your daughter back, but upon traveling through to the Columbian universe Booker's brain made false memories as to why he was there and formed that he was hired to find Elizabeth to clear his debt. The Lucetes knew this would happen and rolled with it with the notes at the lighthouse etc to further strengthen those memories.[/sp]
I assumed [sp]the notes were made up by Booker because he's a violent person and made up violent memories on how he got there[/sp].
My only issue with the [sp]Rapture cameo[/sp] was that it reminded me of this one youtube comment I saw ages ago. Not sure if it's spoilery or not since its a really stupid theory but just to be safe

[sp]I spent ages just looking at the sky when you get to the lighthouse, expecting to see a plane crash[/sp]
That ending.
That fucking ending.
I haven't felt that into/concerned about a game since Kingdom Hearts.
I want to wipe my memories and experience it all over again.
[sp]I like to think that the body of the songbird was probably found by the scientists in Rapture and that's what helped them create Big Daddies[/sp]
[sp]Maybe that's what made them so protective of the little sisters.[/sp]
So are Vigors and Salts [sp]just renamed versions of Plasmids and EVE? Did Fink find a tear and take the design? I know that's how he came up with the songbird.[/sp]
[sp]I like to think that the body of the songbird was probably found by the scientists in Rapture and that's what helped them create Big Daddies[/sp]

[sp]More likely the relationship between them is just part of the constants between universes, not that they are directly related.[/sp]
[sp]Maybe that's what made them so protective of the little sisters.[/sp]
Actually [sp]it's the opposite now that I think about it. Fink also has a power to see through time somehow (it's even implied he along his brother were the first ones to originally bring it to Lutece), and took inspiration from the big daddies to create the songbird. As for the big daddies, they got overprotective when Dr Suchong slapped a little sister in the fact, and as a result a big daddy raged out and drilled his stomach out[/sp]
[sp]I like to think that the body of the songbird was probably found by the scientists in Rapture and that's what helped them create Big Daddies[/sp]
[sp]Nope it was the other way round. There's a voxophone in which Fink talks about finding a big daddy and bases the design of the songbird around it[/sp]
[sp]More likely the relationship between them is just part of the constants between universes, not that they are directly related.[/sp]
[sp]Fink does say he got the idea of the songbird from another world though, so it's heavily implied it was the big daddy he saw[/sp]
[sp]Fink does say he got the idea of the songbird from another world though, so it's heavily implied it was the big daddy he saw[/sp]
Ah, I missed that :c

Woah, bullshit, where is that voxophone?
I wish we got to see more of [sp]alternate 1980's. I mean, it had to be an alternate version of it, right? With the movie being Revenge of the Jedi and all that.[/sp]
It's also hinted at [sp]that his brother wrote old songs by taking inspirations from ones he heard through the tears. That's even possibly where the 1910's version of Girls Just Wanna have Fun comes from[/sp]

I think you find it behind a desk while going through the factory, can't remember exactly though.
Also I'm pissed I missed one voxophone. Ah well I'll find it during 1999 mode.

[sp]Or copyrights.[/sp]
Wow, Bioshock just shot to the top of my coolest game universes list, thanks to infinite.
[sp]Or copyrights.[/sp]
[sp]Revenge of the Jedi was the original working title of Return of the Jedi.[/sp]
[sp]Revenge of the Jedi was the original working title of Return of the Jedi.[/sp]
[sp]Oh I know. Either they're play "Revenge of the Jedi" its because its in an alternate universe, or they would have used Revenge, not return to avoid copyright.[/sp]
Wait, I just realized.
[sp]In the original teaser of Bioshock Infinite, booker dies after a handyman throws him off columbia into a field.
And there is the original concept of Elizabeth in this teaser, who you can then see at the end when all the elizabeths show up.
The teaser was in an alternative reality with bigtits elizabeth and where booker fucked up his rescue plan[/sp]
