[sp]I can't decide if that ending was depressing or confusing.[/sp] [sp]Either way, I feel sort of heartbroken. I wish there were multiple endings so you don't have to bear witness to 3 Elizabeths drowning their collective father.[/sp] [sp]Also, did the Elizabeth in the middle disappear like the others as Witt/Comstock drowned? I would assume so. I mean, if Booker never turned into Comstock, then Comstock wouldn't have been the prophet and Booker wouldn't have struggled with him to keep Anna/Elizabeth away from the Lutece twins, Elizabeth would have never lost her pinky-[/sp] [sp]god fucking dammit this infinite timeline/universe thing isn't worth arguing with.[/sp] Irrational has successfully left the gaming community scratching their heads with this.
Sooo why didn't the [sp]Luteces explain everything to Booker, and who killed the guy in the lighthouse in the beginning?[/sp]
Just about to ask the same thing too
Mild spoilers. "I don't suspect anyone's heard that song" But then a few minutes later Yeah, no one's heard that song. :v:
3 more days until I can finally play it ohshit
I know the carbine sucks, how is it fully upgraded?
I know the carbine sucks, how is it fully upgraded?
Carbine is my favorite weapon. Fully upgraded, it's got 12 bullets and hits like a truck on Normal Mode.
I know the carbine sucks, how is it fully upgraded?
i basically used the carbine and hand cannon throughout the whole game
I just had a funny thought about the Columbian Covers of modern songs. How would they cover a Skrillex song?

First Handyman encounter on 1999 went well, though he did instakill me when I had him down to a sliver of hp. After I respawned one sniper bullet was enough.
How many chapters/levels are there, and how long did you guys take to finish? I'm up to the part where[sp]Elizabeth kills Lucy[/sp] and I was wondering how much was left, because I want to savor it.
[sp] Did they ever explain the Asylum at the end with the boys of silence, that was actually what I originally though Infinite was gonna be like, more horror/mindfuckery and that segment was except it didnt make any sense and felt extremely out of place, did they ever explain why the people in it were the way they were?[/sp]
I'm having trouble recommending the game on steam, keeps giving me an error and tells me to try again... Anyone else having this problem?
[sp] Did they ever explain the Asylum at the end with the boys of silence, that was actually what I originally though Infinite was gonna be like, more horror/mindfuckery and that segment was except it didnt make any sense and felt extremely out of place, did they ever explain why the people in it were the way they were?[/sp]
This is something I want to know.
This is something I want to know.
It honestly felt like it was a segment they kept from the original theme of infinite. reminds me exactly of the type of mindfuckery and insanity in the first 10 minute demo.

[sp]Also, massive fucking foreshadowing, seriously, amazing job[/sp] This is probably one of the best game I've ever played. Everyone was hyped beyond belief... and yet it still delivered. It's just astounding how you can beat already unreasonable expectations.
This game destroyed me more than The Walking Dead. [sp]Rapture was rough.[/sp] Also regarding future story DLC, [sp]will it really matter what the story is? We all know it's just another lighthouse.[/sp]
Hold up a second. I never saw that red tear. Also, my Booker's hand was never bandaged. What's going on.
Hold up a second. I never saw that red tear. Also, my Booker's hand was never bandaged. What's going on.
Variables and constants.
Hold up a second. I never saw that red tear. Also, my Booker's hand was never bandaged. What's going on.
[sp]if you decide not to pull your gun out on the ticketman and just ask for 2 tickets again, he stabs you in the hand & you wear a bandage for the rest of the game[/sp] or at least what i heard, i choose the smart decision
Considering the message they were trying to get across at the end of the game, people really shouldn't feel bummed out at the lack of multiple endings. It would literally be impossible for the devs to do it. Just use your imagination to think of how differently things could of turned out, as that's what they probably intended for us to do.[sp]Besides, it would be pointless to select a few specific timelines when there's an infinite number of them.[/sp]
Hold up a second. I never saw that red tear. Also, my Booker's hand was never bandaged. What's going on.
[sp] if you choose demand tickets at the airship place the teller stabs your hand and Elizabeth puts a bandage on it after [/sp]
You get stabbed in the hand if you don't do something a certain way.
Holy shit this game is guuuuud and it's so colorful and pretty.
Spoilers and speculation: [sp] Here is my take on it: I believe that this asylum is where they kept those that went mad from dying (or just gone mad from memories being replaced) in other universes. Remember when you killed those guards and they started acting all twitchy and going mad? I'm assuming this is where people like those are sent to keep them away from the public and to test them. It's also possible that these people were test subjects for the use of tears created through the siphon or through channeling Elizabeth's powers. Why the boys of silence are there is another question. It could be they acted as guards to make sure none of the insane people ever left the asylum and to keep them in their place. Or it could be something else entirely. Still this is mostly speculation.[/sp]

[sp] So did they explain at all what the songbird is? Is it a man in a giant suit or something or what? I'm not sure if I missed something or if they made it vague on purpose[/sp]
[sp] So did they explain at all what the songbird is? Is it a man in a giant suit or something or what? [sp] no way to really know how the songbird works except for a few audio logs saying they designed him from big daddies and etc. It seems like it is a higher technology so my guess is they based it off possible other combinations from rips. It would be cool to know but giving it all away just ruins the mystery[/sp]
