holy shit, there isn't a single part of columbia so far that I haven't enjoyed i love carnivals/theme parks in games
i think i'm starting to realize something about Liz, but i'm not far enough into the game to know if i'm right and i don't want to post it and accidentally ruin it for myself if someone replies
She's a dude
I almost cried at the beginning, when you first enter the church. The atmosphere, the hymn, its so perfect. I walked around there for 30 minutes, and didn't want to leave.
The song [sp]is played throughout the game, in a lot of different ways[/sp]. If you've made it to [sp]Shanty town[/sp] There's a [sp]small event or easter egg in the basement that uses the song.[/sp] Most of you probably know exactly what I'm talking about, but if you missed it, here's a video link here. There's no plot spoilers, but it is probably my most favorite part of the game. Turn it down if the audio is blowing shit out, it wasn't like that when I watched it prior to uploading.
are you kidding, that was like something out of a sunday school cartoon [editline]a[/editline] my fave music-related part so far was lacrimosa playing in [sp]Lady C's shrine[/sp] also tainted love
Did anyone else end up with a gigantic stockpile of unspent cash at the end? I collected money like mad, and only really upgraded two weapons and a few vigors. [sp]Also, Murder of Crows was, by a long shot, my favorite vigor to use.[/sp]
http://youtu.be/qNy9jrer75s?t=13s That whole ride was just the best thing ever, I can't control my spine, it just keeps tingling.
are you kidding, that was like something out of a sunday school cartoon
I didn't expect it in Bioshock though, it was a good change of pace and for once you're involved.

i can understand one complaint though; minus the twins and arguably elizabeth, most of the characters are pretty flat/retarded easpecially [sp]the vox holy FUUUUCK THE FUCKING VOX[/sp] not that it matters, most everything else makes up for them
[sp]I found an easier to follow flow chart of the endings https://dl.dropbox.com/u/71368030/Pictoors/adinfinitum.png[/sp]
Any way to figure out specifically which one Sightseer achievement kinetoscope or telescope I missed? I looked it up and have 33 of the 34 I should have where I am in the game. I can't tell from looking at a list of them all and it will take hours to test them all.
after ~22 hours, i finally beat 1999 mode. holy hell, that was actually legitimately hard, and this story and that ending. [sp]i gotta admit, throwing me back into rapture tugged on my heart strings a little bit. ive replayed the first one more than 10 times since its release, i just had to sit there for about 5 minutes taking it all in. my brain was an absolute mindfuck by the end of it, absolutely tops the first game for a twist in the story. i was even getting a little teary eyed at the little video shown in the credits[/sp] i might just go and play system shock 2 (for my very first time) after that, friend has been getting on me to play that too so i just might. what comes first though, is getting through ALL these black bars that have been getting on my nerve for this entire thread. i also really hope the future DLC is just as fucking awesome as the main game (not length wise, of course, but still hopefully considerably worth the $$). hell, i really even hope they make more bioshock games in the future, just as long as they keep up the quality on all fronts
i still haven't figured out the twins yet but i'm almost positive[sp] they're (at least the female one) connected to liz[/sp] somehow
i still haven't figured out the twins yet but i'm almost positive they're (at least the female one) connected to liz somehow
I wish I could wipe my memories and go through what you're going through now.
i still can't believe that i'm only halfway there it feels like i should be at least 75% of the way, i've done so much already
[sp]I found an easier to follow flow chart of the endings https://dl.dropbox.com/u/71368030/Pictoors/adinfinitum.png[/sp]
Thanks for putting that in a spoiler tag.
I wish I could wipe my memories and go through what you're going through now.
i wish i could wipe my memory and experience all of that all over again
if this is anything like the other bioshocks, the last boss is going to come out of left field but make total sense once you see it
This song stood out most in the game for me, along with [sp]the song in the slum town, i forget the name.[/sp] no video tags since the name is somewhat of a spoiler and the comments http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uWYuHqLDXE ;-;
if this is anything like the other bioshocks, the last boss is going to come out of left field but make total sense once you see it
Don't try to hard to figure the ending out or you'll have an anurism once you finally do.
considering all the shit that's happened so far i've accepted that the ending will be fucking great but i totally won't figure it out until then
Don't try to hard to figure the ending out or you'll have an anurism once you finally do.
This whole thread could basically just be "mind blown" image/video macros.
The ending is not all that complicated when you break it down :P
I really, really love the group-song version of Goodnight, Irene that they're singing at the raffle. It really moves me for some reason.
after ~22 hours, i finally beat 1999 mode. holy hell, that was actually legitimately hard, and this story and that ending.
Beat the final boss just now and didn't find it very hard at all. Mostly ammo problems and cheap long-range machine gun deaths.
What if the DLC's turn out to be alternate story lines? [sp]Different universes? The same man, lighthouse and city but [/sp]things go an entirely different way, even if it is slightly shorter then the main story. Like in the old trailers for the game that had you hunting down that politician fellow while mortar canons fire at you, that'd be an interesting story line to follow.
This might be my favorite non-spoilerific moment from Bioshock... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=eLtXCz-w4MU#t=974s
spoilers
Almost forgot, spoiler tagged the parts that might be considered spoilers.
