You're taking your sweet time, but that's not a bad thing.
What was up with the [sp]nose bleeds? Were they caused by booker being killed in an alternate universe, similar to the ones in the good time club?[/sp]
Also how many of you [sp]found the great pair of pants in the first few hours of the game at the raven place, hidden in a room behind a bookshelf? Their effect was so significant that I didn't replace them with something else throughout the whole game[/sp]
[sp]You mean the ones that decrease shield recharge delay and increase recharge time? Those are the absolute best, never even thought about swapping.[/sp]
So did Booker call [sp]heads? Or tails? He called tails in my game, and it landed on it. My friend says he called heads. In both, Robert's board is marked all heads.[/sp]

[sp]in my game he called heads. I didn't even know there was a variable[/sp]

[sp]Yep. They just seemed miles more effective than anything else in the game. I imagine the game would have been much harder if I hadn't found those.[/sp]
The more I play the more I'm impressed with Elizabeth's AI. Might be the best AI i've ever seen.

Sounds like this stuff ties in to [sp]the different realities/timelines. Didn't think the coin flip would actually be randomized, but in the end, somewhat akin to how Jack had to follow the orders of 'Would you kindly' under the guise of standard FPS protocol, Booker's actions can change his timeline a little but ultimately mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.[/sp]
Played the game through, from like 12 PM to 11 PM. Definitely wasn't expecting some things, not sure quite what to think yet...
So how did [sp] Comstock know Booker was coming and did Comstock know that Booker was himself from another reality? That was confusing me a bit.[/sp]

With this knowledge, I now have proof!
[sp]WE are all the Bookers from the ending. All of us playing created the alternate realities. It's a comment on the nature of the way we all slightly change the narrative just by how we play. You walk around in circles for five minutes scavenging? Other players just kept going. Playing. Played. Will play.[/sp]
Fuck off, ghost.
if i could get a rough percentage of how far I have to go, i'm in the middle of [sp]shooting my way (ironically) into the weapons factory thing[/sp]. how far in am I? Feels like less than 50%, if I had to guess.
I should finish this up so I can read these spoilers.

You're halfway through when Elizabeth changes her clothes.
Ah. I was wondering about that, they're starting to get torn up a bit.
that lighthouse at the very beginning almost looked like the original Bioshock lighthouse, i was worried for a second. :<
wait was the thing at the beginning of bioshock a lighthouse or just a weird tower? I forgot

I should stop coming to this thread, it's getting really inconvenient to have to pick up pieces of my mind.

Just using my English major powers for good.
Best intro scene to a game ever. And the ending was absolutely phenominal.
who else had their mind explode when they found out that [sp]all of the music in the game is just old 1912'd remakes of popular songs from the future[/sp]
:v:

[sp]I giggled when I heard "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" through a tear.[/sp]

[sp]I seen everyone mention the "girls wanna have fun" thing playing at the beach, but haven't seen anyone mention in a ruined building later in the game there's a tear that plays the "future version" of it. I guess it's a tear to the future.[/sp]

You.
so the first bioshock's story was fantastic. second one, not so much. so far this one seems even better. is that a roughly accurate statement?
i think adam sessler's review kind of summarized how everyone feels about this, come to think of it

The [sp]Fortunate Son[/sp] moment was incredible.
I really should download the previous two Bioshocks I got from a preorder bundle to see how they compare to Infinite.
One thing i'm slightly annoyed about, though, is that the AI isn't quite what it used to be. I remember Splicers jumping into waters to put themselves out if set onfire, or using Plasmids on you in some cases. In Infinite, [sp]only the crow guys have a Vigour, they teleport around with it while you can't yet they never send them out to attack you like you can, and as if to make up for it they have Firemen, Patriots and Handymen, but none of the enemies have those self-preservation quirks anymore.[/sp]
I had no idea the music was a bunch of remakes, the only song i recognized was "everybody wants to rule the world" from tears for fears that plays [sp]when you see elizabeth open the rift to paris for the first time.[/sp]

[sp] Thats actually extremely important to the story, an audio log explains they steal music through tears[/sp]
since i mentioned it and haven't seen it posted
