One of the subtitle files is [sp]credits_song_captions[/sp] Then again, it isn't surprising
Holy balls I didn't know it was ready for pre-load. I'm off to steam!
Just tried Shadowgrounds: Survivor but I didn't like it at all. I got lost or something and then I got bored and quit. Shadowgrounds didn't even work, I select Start and it spawns on some fucked up map with polygons all over the place and I couldn't do anything...
Start up the setup and turn of samplemod. I have no idea why they would enable it by default.
Ugh, why does Windows have to update just as I'm pre-loading. I can't even cancel it.
[sp] aperture_ai[/sp] maybe the [sp] Announcer replacing GLaDOS[/sp].
No, if you have ever mapped for portal, you would know that GLaDOS is called "aperture_ai"
This is how I feel about Portal 2 right about now! "YEAH GET THAT SHIT IN!".
It means that you can't mod models and textures ingame without hex editing the pak01_dir
From what I've experienced, you can replace every file as long as you put it into an addon. That might sound inconvenient but you can share your files more easily and you can disable/delete them without having to look through all the folders for the right files. All you need is an additional text file. It's like GMod's addon system. One problem I've encountered with VPKs is that L4D2 crashed while loading a custom map when I had too many addons installed.

there arent zombies in portal 2, just a quick by the way. [editline]13th April 2011[/editline] nor flying turrets.
What makes you so sure? [editline]13th April 2011[/editline]
and the maps [sp] sp_a4_speed_tb_catch.bsp sp_a4_stop_the_box.bsp sp_a4_tb_catch.bsp sp_a4_tb_intro.bsp sp_a4_tb_polarity.bsp sp_a4_tb_trust_drop.bsp sp_a4_tb_wall_button.bsp [/sp]
At first glance, I thought "tb" was either "the Borealis" or "The Ball", but the "stop the box" one makes me think it could be "the box". Now if only we knew what "the box" is. I'd guess that these might be the companion cube levels I recall them mentioning, but I don't think they'd make it that long.
This box, I hope its not a flashback of that thing you wake up in Portal 1 for the first time, or its that map where it appears you wake up in a hotel room, only to find it break apart and a familiar new voice they just introduced telling you your still at Aperature. Or intro is that map, and stop the box is after. But, one thing for sure, there is a bad box that looks like the companion cube, but is not your companion, has a different icon, and it explodes if it impacts. IDK. Whatever the case, I don't get why the intro starts with 7 maps. The box just is not the Borealis though. (hope im wrong) If anything should be considered, look at sp_a4_tb_polarity.bsp That may be nothing, but I thought Dr Kleiner talked about Polarity, can't remember where else I heard that science talk before otherwise.

hahaha i'm pretty sure actually.
hahaha i'm pretty sure actually.
How are you so fucking sure? It's in the same universe as Half Life, it seems very likely that one of the reasons hat aperture was abandoned was zombies, probably head crab ones. It may be possible that the people who wrote things on the wall were running from zombies, they weren't just escaped test subjects.
it is possible that headcrabs have found their way into the ruined facility besides the script files do not lie the file is npc_sounds_zombie_aperature.txt located in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\scripts theory is backed by the zombie picture sent out from everythingis finehere <goingtomakesomechanges@gmail.com> as part of the ARG
-It may be possible that the people who wrote things on the wall were running from zombies, they weren't just escaped test subjects.
Hmmm, why the hell would people who are alone for long periods of time to the point that they believe a giant cube is alive write on a wall? OH YEAH, they're crazy.

I seriously doubt zombies will play a major role in Portal 2, however I seriously doubted that the ARG transmissions actually meant something, and most of us know how that turned out. I mean with Valve, literally anything could happen.
