Eh, the game will probably suck like the first, and plus, Windows 7 is a hunk of crap. Both my rigs run games 10x better on XP than 7. Stalkers all have to be played on complete minimum on win 7, Arma 2 at 800x600 at minimum, etc, and still get low fps. Changed both my rigs to XP, and look at that, Stalkers MAXED with atleast 30+ FPS, Arma 2 1990x1080 at Medium with about 30FPS.
Kinda says something really ~IMO.
XP is fucking old, and that being said, your computers can't handle windows 7 then. Then it's time for a upgrade. And enjoy your lack of support for new games on your old OS.

Funny you say that. One is a Quad Core, X1950Pro, 2Gb ram, not the greatest pc, but it can handle Win 7, and judging by what I've seen on say the OCUK forums, people with much crapper rigs can handle Windows 7. I've seen people with Monster rigs have problems with games running crap on Win 7. Its just a more secretive Vista IMO. XP is still the way to go.
Also. This was said about Crysis, and well, that lasted long didn't it. XD

There wasn't even really any performance issues with Vista in games either. You are severely misinformed and stupid to base your entire view of windows 7 performance on your own experience.
If it truely had problems everyone would know about it. The chances are you installed the drivers backwards or something stupid.
You're doing it wrong.
Gee what a surprise, knew someone would come back with that, I'm not doing it wrong, een my brother, whos been setting up pc's for maybe 10 or so years, if not longer, also had the same problem, its Win 7. Also not to mention the fact that you can't use Belkin Wireless and Firefox on Win 7 at the same time. Cause it kills the internet, only way to fix = Restart pc.
[editline]06:25PM[/editline]
Also. It was proven alot, and theres thousands of accounts of people with Vista having performance drops, don't be naive.

That's belkins fault if anyones. It is your fault I can assure you, if it wasn't, others would be complaining about these things.
I could understand people not wanting to upgrade to Vista, but you got no legitimate reason not to uprade to Win 7 now (except money or a bad computer)
As for drivers, refer above. No driver install nor backwards bullshit.
[editline]06:26PM[/editline]
Also, ALOT of people have problems with Belkin. Stop being narrow minded.

Just because the drivers made for XP work, doesn't mean you should use them.
And not once did I say I used the XP drivers on Win 7, that's you just presuming.

Well then that's belkin then, not windows 7. :downs:
If anyone here is narrow minded it is you. Problems with windows 7 are rare, gaming performance is just as with XP and vista. If this weren't the case, everyone would complain about it.
I have windows 7, I have no problems.
Also, gg, the backwards driver install was a joke. You can't install a driver backwards.
it's too early to scrap XP since some medium strenght gamer rigs are still running on that. but on the other hand the move must be made before we're backe buying amiga games again.

Well, Im not narrow Minded, I was just stating my Opinion, which is a human right btw, my point is, in my experiance, and quite alot of people I know, also have had problems, granted, others haven't but it seems XP is still king in my eyes, and many others.

actually, VISTA's gaming performance was alot worse than XP and 7. 7 and XP are about equal on semi-new titles. this and next year will see XP off with a heatfelt thankyou, now die.
Boo hoo, go upgrade.
that did not accomplish anything usefull at all.

No, Vista's gaming performance was equal. I lost at the most 2 FPS going from XP to Vista, and didn't lose any frames going from Vista to 7.

XP is old. As long as you continue to use it you will be justifyably denied the newest entertainment media.

Firstly, 1992 = 17 18 in march, secondly, you are a dick. HURR DURR lets pick on the 17 year old cause I'm insecure, and because he isn't allowed to voice his opinion on things because it might make us think diffrently or research things for ourselves. Don't know why I bother. Say anything diffrent that dosen't involve being a sheep and you get shunned for it. Who woulda thought.

Post SP1 vista was on par with XP.

The irony is earth shattering. You say about research yet it is clear that you are the one who needs to do some, you say about voicing your opinion, yet that is all we are doing too. You say we are sheep, yet last time I checked being well informed doesn't make you a sheep.
It is people like you that condemned vista even once the issues were ironed out.

You're the only person being a sheep by not adopting Windows 7, and yes, that's one of the few reasons I know you're 11 years old.

no, it was not on par with XP on any rig with less than 4 gigs of ram. that OS was strangling mid-end computers SP or no SP. the only thing that SP did was bundle together fixes for fails in one big lump.
i didn't condemn vista, i tollerated it. but i threw a party once i saved my com from that shitpile with 7. truth is, my computers that were far beyond reccomended requirements were suffocated by a system that is heavy and better suited for powerhouses.

1. On a good computer, performance was equal to that in XP with equivalent specs. Quite frankly I found it hilarious that everyone was complaining about Vista being slower on older computers, I mean, what do they expect, it's newer, more advanced.

How many people do you know that are actually running Windows 7? Exactly. It's a minority, and you're making it extremely obvious that you're 11 just by typing the way you are. How fucking stupid do you think I am?

Vista is not a shitpile and your "any less than 4GB RAM" argument is bullshit. I ran Vista with no SPs for 2 years on my laptop with an E7200, 1GB RAM and a GeForce Go 7300 with no problems. You probably didn't format right or you just did something plain wrong.
Oh this will make all the autistic XP users cry some more. "Wah wah, I DON'T LIKE CHAAANGE!"
And yes, that's with playing games like Garry's Mod and EP2.

we're talking MID-END computers, there's nothing old about them. just accept that that os was meant for servers and powerhouses and at the same time failed.
it's not for nothing it's widely unpopular. don't go 1 on 50 million here.

That's why we are saying that only computer specs are really a reason not to upgrade.
