Return to Sender + Bucking Bronco(esspecially with that chain effect thing) are my favorite plasmids, with Shock Jokey + Posession after them. Kiss of Devil I ended up killing myself most of the time, and that tentacle Plasmid is worthless, because pulling enemies requires you to hold the button, which is somewhat counter-intuitive, the throw is weak and it takes more Salts than Bronco

[QUOTE=ZombieDawgs;40132727]Okay, mom. [sp]How am I Comstock and Booker at the same time?[/sp][/QUOTE] [sp]Basically, there are a theoretical infinite number of parallel realities. For the purpose of this game, there was a point in Booker's life where the realities ended up having a major split; this was the baptism at Wounded Knee. In some realities, Booker refused the baptism and remained himself, and ended up getting deep in gambling debt. In the other realities, Booker accepted the baptism and remade his identity as Zachary Comstock.[/sp]

Booker's brain had no memories of this reality or why he was here, so it made up the justification of rescuing Elizabeth to wipe out his gambling debts.[/sp]

Woa. New thread every day?
[QUOTE=ZombieDawgs;40132889][sp]But what's stopping the other universes from completely annihilating the world below? Booker can't save all of them if they're practically infinite.[/sp][/QUOTE] [sp]They do stop that by going to the splitting point, where Booker was baptized into Comstock, and drown him when he accepted the priest's offer, killing off [i]all[/i] versions of Comstock as he only exists after the baptizing, and Booker is drowned every time he chooses to be baptized. If he chooses to run away from it, he would still live[/sp]

But doesn't that also mean she isn't born? Or is she already born when he goes for the baptism.[/sp]
[sp]If that's the case what's the final, after the end credits segment supposed to imply.[/sp]
[IMG]http://puu.sh/2sBCp[/IMG] Error, or Steam Workshop support coming to Infinite? That would be AWESOME!
[sp]Also how exactly was Elizabeth able to do the things she could? I feel like I must have missed something in regards to that.[/sp]
[QUOTE=Archimedes;40132959][sp]If that's the case what's the final, after the end credits segment supposed to imply.[/sp][/QUOTE] [sp]The Booker that ran away from the baptizing continues to live in a reality where he still has his daughter, and nobody buys her or takes her from him.[/sp]

[QUOTE=Archimedes;40132968][sp]Also how exactly was Elizabeth able to do the things she could? I feel like I must have missed something in regards to that.[/sp][/QUOTE] [sp]She existed in two universes at once when her finger got cut off when Booker tries to stop Comstock from taking her to the other universe as a baby. I think thats why. [/sp]
[QUOTE=ZombieDawgs;40132945][sp]oh OH OHHHHHH So in effect, Elizabeth is the one that is playing the pieces, booker is just a pawn. But doesn't that also mean she isn't born? Or is she already born when he goes for the baptism.[/sp][/QUOTE] [sp]That part is left a little more ambiguous. We don't have any idea what happened to the Elizabeth we spent the game with. Maybe she disappeared, or maybe she now has the same abilities as the Lucettes and can jump between realities at will. The post-credits scene implies that the Booker we're left with (which is the Booker we've been playing as) gets to keep his daughter.[/sp]
Booker's nose bleeds because of all the sugary food he has eaten.
Almost certainly late to the party, but I just noticed that the priest at the start of the game [sp]is the same one that baptised Comstock/Booker at the point of divergence, albeit blind.[/sp] This fucking game...
[QUOTE=Delta616;40132966][IMG]http://puu.sh/2sBCp[/IMG] Error, or Steam Workshop support coming to Infinite? That would be AWESOME![/QUOTE] I don't see how that'd work, there's little to be modded.
I fucking knew it I knew that [sp]they would bring back Rapture somehow[/sp]
Odd, i'm trying to play Infinite but for some reason the game won't run past 5 FPS. I can max this beauty out at 50-60 on average. Rebooting didn't help, verifying integrity of game cache didn't help, gonna re install drivers.
Steam workshop for bioshock? Without a doubt, there will be 100 or so nude mods for elizabeth. Maybe bioshock should be left as is
[QUOTE=bob4life;40133271]Steam workshop for bioshock? Without a doubt, there will be 100 or so nude mods for elizabeth. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] [QUOTE=Smashman;40133183]I don't see how that'd work, there's little to be modded.[/QUOTE] User created content in Infinite would be awesome, think of the custom campaigns it would bring.
[sp]Something I like about the ending and how it correlates to the start of the game is that you're essentially left with an extremely ambiguous backstory for coming to Columbia. You obviously have the goal of getting the girl and wiping away the debt, but pretty much everything else, even how you got on the boat or the transaction itself isn't explained upon and we just sort of accept that because it's standard video game fare. With that in mind, just sort of accepting that you are now on a boat going to a city to get a girl and clear away debt with no real clear specifics is a neat little parallel between Booker's perceptions and the Player's, because I'd imagine neither are particularly focused on the how and why but more the when of them actually doing their job. Maybe I'm reading too much into it though.[/sp]
I'm currently solving the cipher [sp]text old Elizabeth gives you. It's actually something comprehensible. I'll come back with updates in a while[/sp].

Oh god bioshock infinite has so many plot holes ._. The ending just feels cheap
[QUOTE=Mega1mpact;40133501]Oh god bioshock infinite has so many plot holes ._. The ending just feels cheap[/QUOTE] Ah shit someone pointed out that the video thumbnail is a spoiler. I'll link it be safe. [URL]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hKKAkrnT_o8[/URL] (url tags aren't working for me, the fuck) Obviously if the thumbnail is a spoiler than the video contains MAJOR SPOILERS because it's playing the end of the game. You're not looking into it. It feels cheap if you're not thinking about it. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] Not my video but it helped explain some stuff.
