What exactly is this machine doing?
(minor spoilers) http://imgur.com/SXGSDhq
[sp]There's a teddy bear, a poetry book, and Elizabeth's first menstrual cycle in the windows with levers on the bottom. When you pull the levers, They look like they're going through a tear and the items themselves change. Both the bear and the book change colors and the blood is gone from the rag. I have no clue as to what is going on here. Are they getting moved to a different dimension? Anybody know?[/sp]
[sp]It's just demonstrating alternate dimensions. The teddy bear/book is a different colour in another dimension, that rag wasn't used as an improvised tampon in another dimension, etc.[/sp]
Handcannon + Carbine all day erry day.
The problem I have is that the constants are only constants because the allmighty game/god says so, not because they are provided by the Axioms the game is built uppon.
Precisely, but it is a necessary deus ex machina in order to make the ending end in the way it did.
I don't know why people are disliking you for arguing, I had the same exact thought after pondering over the ending for a while. I completely understand where you are coming from and love arguing it, but it also makes sense to me as why the game chose this and went with the "constants and variables." In my opinion, it would just be too complex and overdoing it if it were to take the [sp]infinite universes as a literal thing.[/sp]
Okay so just beat the game on 1999 mode. Didn't use any Dolla Dolla Bill machines either. Gotta say the ending was much better this time around. I also stuck all the way through the credits this time which was a good choice.

This is why I don't like time travel/alternate universe plots in general.

So if you send the bloodied rag through, another Elizabeth finds a bloodied rag and screams in disgust?
I don't trust the text in this instance. Doesn't help this toilet in particular was surrounded by flies.

Constants, and variables.
The variable is who posts it.
The constant is that it is always funny.
Many thanks!
The Carbine is great if you can aim.
Carbine fully upgraded (aka -60% recoil) <3
Also 1999 Mode makes enemies shoot to kill, rather to hurt, like in Normal or Hard.
Holding down Return to Sender while spamming a fully upgraded sniper rifle is the funniest shit.
"I AM THE KING OF QUICKSCOPE!" *powpowpowpow*
Something funny I realized:
The game included 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' by Tears for Fears. Guess what happens in the bad future?

But it's pronounced TEERS not TARES :(
I just beat it. The only words I have are holy fuck.

I feel like the only time I heard that was during the credits.
Just finished it, and holy fuck, I did not see that ending coming...
Man, that alone made the game worth it.
The Murder of Crows has my favorite hand effect.
Murder of crows is pretty much the bee plasmid, but better in every way.

Any game that let's me tear my opponents apart with birds is always fun for me for some reason.

I'm in the extreme minority when I say that I thought the Undertow effect was the coolest.
Also, anyone have dibs on the next thread? We're coming up on the end here.

I don't wish to appear as a malevolent overload, so it's open to anyone.

If no one else was in the market

Given how quickly we go through threads, how about I take this next one and you get the one after. We'll be on V9 by Friday at this rate :v:

I'm pretty sure you can also find it in the level with [sp]Lady Comstock's ghost.[/sp] It's playing on a record in one of Fink's music-making businesses.

I don't know, I found it a little off putting having a bunch of squelchy wet assholes sprouting out of my hand :v:
think I'm on my 5th try for the Zeppelin now, actually.
The fun part is the more you die the more frustrated you are, and the easier it is for you to die.
you are always too easily worked up and want the world to know about it. calm down
