Found another couple of cool things today.
[sp]In Finktown, the marque on the front of the club says "Booker Dewitt Audition Today". And, in one of the back areas of the map, there is a tear where you can hear a few lines of the original CCR "Fortunate Son" coming through before it disappears.[/sp]
Fuck me there are so many cool little moments to find in this game.

i was in constant fear that overuse of it would trigger a twist ending where booker turns into a crow and flies away while elizabeth looks on in confusion

I hate phrases like, "Am I the only one..." on this forum, because it makes ratings really confusing.

[sp]One of my favorite in game moments is in the basement of the tavern, where Booker plays the guitar and Elizabeth sings to the kid who was trying to nick some food. It hasn't really got any effect on the game and doesn't get you anything special; it's just sort of there for the sake of being there.[/sp]

[sp]I figured that with all the multiverse and tear shit, there was gonna be more than one Elizabeth for Booker to encounter. (Considering that prior to modest Elizabeth she had her pinky finger in all the footage and screenshots.)

I've been thinking about the ending, and [sp]it's a little too much like that old joke about a guy who tells a genie to "make me a sandwich," and is promptly transformed into a sandwich. Seems a bit deceptive with that whole "are you sure you want to kill Comstock" thing.[/sp]

[sp]That outfit was adorable on her, her hair too. Well, besides the whole covered in blood part. The change was probably just to show character progression, considering the mood and how Elizabeth has grown by the end of the game, it wouldn't be right for her to be in a cute outfit with a bow in her hair.[/sp]

Are they each drowning a different version of you, and you're each version at the same time? And is there only like 7 Comstocks because only a handful of Elizabeths are drowning you? And where or when you being drowned anyway? was it when you were just waiting around at the Baptism place for everyone else to show up?[/sp]

By drowning Booker during the moment he was baptized it removes any possibility of Comstock ever becoming a 'person'. No Comstock, No Columbia, No Elizabeth, the multiverse gets a little less fucked up. Think of it as a spin on the whole 'killing an evil person before they ever leaves the crib' idea.
The only part that confused me was the after the credit sequence. I presumed Booker died, but it seems to insinuate that somehow it just killed the Comstock timeline.[/sp]

[sp]The Comstock timeline is dead basically, they "broke the circle", and Booker gets to live a life with Anna, hopefully not selling her this time and retaining his memories.[/sp]

[sp]I think as soon as you go through the door to that scene, the game just puts you into the perspective of the Booker that took the Baptism. While the Booker you play as was rewinded back to when he still had Anna at his place. Which could be the reason why *your* Elizabeth was never at the drowning, and again was rewinded back to her being in the crib, as that Elizabeth/Anna was the one from your Booker's timeline. I may be wrong though.[/sp]
third plausible comstock theory- [sp]he's older than booker because the booker that becomes comstock was the product of the future events (paradoxical start to the loop but whatever). comstock knows about the timeline because he lived it- he was the booker you played all along, but the difference is he was never drowned. Maybe the comstock we came to know was a booker that went power hungry, knowing that he could have all that, thinking he'd know how to get around a new booker defeating him.[/sp]
