That whole Bioshock 1 Fitzpatrick thing? I can hear the songbird screech clearly. You can hear it much more clearly in this video, just around 00:14 Might take a decent pair of headphones/sound setup to hear, as a lot of people have been saying they outright can't hear anything, never mind a screech that sounds exactly like songbirds. Also begs the question why IGN put up a video of this exact moment years after the release of the original, as is said in the top comments of the video I just linked.
Oh god you're right that does sound like it. But then it also sounds like a whale/dolphin.

Far fetched but entirely plausible, quite amazing point: [sp]It's been uploaded a year ago, the developers could have made a patch or update just to include this as of last year in the original game knowing that Infinite was almost complete. Therefore, it's plausible to assume it's the Songbird's calling during his death, just as nothing else in bioshock would make such sounds...[/sp]
Actually heard it that time,

Holy fuck.
Also begs the question why IGN put up a video of this exact moment years after the release of the original, as is said in the top comments of the video I just linked.
I think people are grasping at straws here, i'd put a fair sum of money on the likeliness that it's all a coincidence and not some big plan created by irrational games.
I think there is a strong possibility that it is a reused sound file for the sake of being really cool.
I don't care how many straws are being grasped. I heard Songbird in that scene. was this intentional? PROBABLY NOT Is there some level of fraud in this? PROBABLY Is it weird IGN uploaded a video nearly 6 years after the game came out? yes, yes it is

Gonna restart my 1999 playthrough and collect everything, does anyone have a list of where all the collectibles are or anything?

anyone else getting a nosebleed?
I think people are grasping at straws here, i'd put a fair sum of money on the likeliness that it's all a coincidence and not some big plan created by irrational games.
There's other vidoes, uploaded earlier/later, in which you can't hear the screeching. It's just strange that, around the time the game was actually completed/close to completion, IGN uploaded said scene, with a character with a bird's beak strapped to his face, playing the piano. ith screeching that sounds exactly like songbird clear as day. [sp]Has it been figures out when the Rapture scene takes place in Infinite? There is no rubble obstructing the way to the room you're in, and no wrench. But everything else is exactly the same.[/sp] If one thing is certain - if this wasn't a coincidence, it's brilliant. Fantastic. Rad as fuck.
It's probably a coincidence but at the same time
anyone else getting a nosebleed?
I'm sure the Japanese could have a field day making jokes about nosebleeds around Elizabeth.
anyone else getting a nosebleed?
You need to calm down mate :v:
I don't care if it's only the video that was edited this is rad as fuck jesus this is cool I love the world

But everything else is exactly the same.[/sp]
Mt theory, [sp]That rapture is one independent of the one you visit in Bioshock 1 completely. The fact that the bathysphere lands on the steps of the lighthouse I think implies that this rapture may be one that Elizabeth manipulated in some manner and is actually inconsequential to actual bioshock[/sp]
I don't care if it's only the video that was edited this is rad as fuck jesus this is cool I love the world
What happened to a few hours ago when BioShock Infinite was a shitty slog of a game to you?
You need to calm down mate :v:
Not a moment ago he was trashing this game and now he is acting like the type of fanboy he was bitching about.
What happened to a few hours ago when BioShock Infinite was a shitty slog of a game to you?
the ending happened
Gonna restart my 1999 playthrough and collect everything, does anyone have a list of where all the collectibles are or anything?
Anyone?
It's most likely reused sounds, as it plays at random points during the level (I can confirm this as I'm playing it right now, and the sound played before Fitz started playing the piano.) They reused some sounds/based the sounds off of those in BS1, probably with the knowledge or intent that it's cool as fuck and makes it look like the [sp]rapture scene in Infinite took place during[/sp] Bioshock 1. Which is smart. Knowing that, and finding it hard to believe that it's completely unintentional? I find that cool as ever loving fuck.
Anyone?
Your google is as good as ours dude, if you cant find any walk through just be sure to be super diligent and you should find everything. IT's mostly in safes and shit so be sure to be on the look out for lock picks.
replaying the game in 1999, [sp] why did booker's nose bleed during the elevator ride to the airship while comstock is talking to him, when he tells the police to not shoot at him? he says something about 'it always ends with blood with you'. is it foreshadowing that he eventually kills comstock? because i thought the nosebleeds meant that something in his memory got replaced [/sp]

Could be that booker was slightly remembering himself as comstock in another universe, or that he was killed in another reality.[/sp]
the rabbit hole goes deeper the video was uploaded august 2012 iirc bioshock infinite was supposed to drop around may 2012 meaning people would've gone online to see where the connection was and IGN would be like "it was here" [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline]
What happened to a few hours ago when BioShock Infinite was a shitty slog of a game to you?
I still don't think it's very fun but fuck you is it well written and that songbird thing is as cool as a lady with three tits
Why are you writing like that it's annoying
not sure what you talkin about mate the double space thing? I unno just a force of habit I guess?
not sure what you talkin about mate the double space thing? I unno just a force of habit I guess?
At Least You're Not Doing This.
I still don't think it's very fun but fuck you is it well written and that songbird thing is as cool as a lady with three tits
These are my thoughts as well, it's an incredibly mediocre game that happens to be well written.
