I disagree. Its gameplay is not 'best-in-class,' but I certainly think it's above average.
I thought that the gameplay was fantastic because of the vigors and skylines
It's not a '9/10' though
I feel bad for [sp]fucking up a perfectly fine flying city (if you ignore the blatant racism against everything different) way ahead of its time just to correct a selfish deal that you made with yourself from a different timeline.[/sp].
[sp]TBF you fucking up the city sort of saves New York from burning to the ground[/sp]

it's above average, not mediocre
a solid 8/10
I think it's a fantastic game, 8/10 is not what I would call a mediocre rating.
I'm not IGN
I plan on getting Bioshock 2 for PC, where the hell is Minvera's Den?
Is it free on Steam? :v:

Regardless of the ratings, what I do hope is that the game causes improvement in the industry. I think Infinite has the potential to be extremely important if developers look at what it does right (art direction, polish, Elizabeth) and started incorporating it into their own titles.
I'm almost positive that, with the chain electric upgrade for Shock Jockey, the electricity can arc from electical appliances like lights. I think this because I just had it happen several times in [sp]the bank fight with Lady Comstock.[/sp]

*nevermind*
You need to download it through GFWL
So does anyone know how to disable the gold skins or no?
@ColossalSoft
No idea.

I did some googling and didn't see anything about that, sorry.
Anyway, what are some ideas for the three "campaigns" we'll be getting with the Season Pass?
I'm thinking just a Vox Populi thing, not much else.
totally forgot about the "Industrial Revolution Rewards Pack"
I went and added my code to Steam and it downloaded, but I've just recently started a new game, do I need to restart again for it to work?
Alright, just so everyone's clear, [sp]Booker (specifically Comstock) is Ryan's parallel, Elizabeth is Jack's parallel raised as a little sister (combination of the two ideas, I suppose), Songbird is literally a big daddy, Letuce is Tenenbaum's parallel, Fink is a Fontaine parallel, Daisy is an Atlas parallel, and honestly I felt like Slate is like the Cohen parallel; he's lost it, has a following, has you kill men for him, and you can choose to kill him or not.[/sp]
Am I right? Or did I get something wrong?

I'm hoping for any of the following:
[sp]
- A mini-campaign fleshing out Songbird. Who/what is he, and how did he come to existence as Elizabeth's guardian?
- More on the Vox Populi. There's a lot of potential here and I think Daisy could be an excellent antagonist, but the transition from "Possible Ally" to "Psychopath" was a little abrupt.
And for a couple outlandish ones:
- Something to do with the Titanic, since it's around that time.
- Paris DLC, because I'm a sap.
[/sp]
Other than that, I'm not sure.

All that seems right enough to me, but remember [sp]None of them need to be parallels at all, for all we know they could variables and completely inconsequential.[/sp] Although if that is not the case that does seems correct (at least to me).

[sp]A wounded knee DLC might be really cool.[/sp]

[sp]You may have forgotten some,
There is a perversion of an extreme ideal (Objectivism and Exceptionalism)
There is an ideal city set to ruins (Rapture and Columbia)
There is a lighthouse at which the game begins (Bathysphere and Rocket)
There is a substance that grants powerful abilities (Plasmids and Vigors)
There is a single, trusty melee weapon (Wrench and Sky Hook)

If you passed the Blue Ribbon (where you get the shield), you missed the rewards.
If I demanded DLC from this game, I feel a [sp]Martyr universe would be cool; you play through an empty tower, you meet Slate, you take over the Hall of Heroes, and eventually die for the cause. It would be nice to see how it played out, as obviously most of the Vox Populi propaganda was made up.[/sp]

[sp]I was only doing characters, actually; I would make those points had I expanded on it, though, so thanks for talking for it.[/sp]

[sp]This is actually a really cool idea, I loved the parts where you lead the Vox Populi[/sp]

Fantastic, thanks a lot.
Do the[sp]Lutece's give it to you?[/sp]
I believe they're the gear and coins on the table closest to the chick that gives you the shield. Also when you pick up your first lockpick the game will give you 5 more.
Fantastic, thanks a lot.

They give you the shield, but all the bonus stuff will pop up in a notification saying "congrats you unlocked this stuff!"

[sp]Book is Jack, Comstock is Ryan, and I think Liz is more Sister than Jack.[/sp]
Oh man this is hilarious.
The third and last [sp]Lady Comstock fight. Using the Undertow and Shock Jockey trick I mentioned, there are absolutely no more people for her to raise. Right now she just keeps screeching and floating from cover to cover as the mosquito I pulled through a tear unloads on her and she can do nothing about it. I'm sitting up on some steps at the back of this impromptu arena where she seems to refuse to come up.
So I'm just sitting back watching as the mosquito takes out the other half of Lady Comstock's health for me.
On 1999 mode.[/sp]

If you think Infinite is incredibly mediocre I am genuinely interested in what you think is a great game because personally it's easily the best game I've played in years, maybe this entire gen.
These are my thoughts as well, it's an incredibly mediocre game that happens to be well written.
I disagree.
I thought it was an extremely fun game that had writing that felt mucky and contrived. The whole game felt like it should have been something else, well the story did anyway.
Oh my fucking GOD I just finished this game and I swear I shed manly tears, the 6 years of waiting were completely fucking worth it this game is FUCKING AMAZING HNNNG

[sp]Let the majestic Songbird seduce you with its mellow screeches~[/sp]
JOKES BESIDE,
I assume your mind is now fucked and you need numerous questions answered.

Elaborate? I thought the gameplay was good and the story was even better. It really isn't as complicated as people make it out to be, especially if you pay attention to the audiologs.
