[t]http://i.imgur.com/eUXauzT.jpg[/t] Anybody know where the key is?
Alright, here's a quesiton: [sp]Remember moment in game where we open a tear to Columbia with Vox Uprising? When we get there we discover that Booker died for Vox cause and he experience slight nosebleed (due to remembering being dead or something like that), and yet we know nothing of this's Columbia Elizabeth! What happened to her before/when/after Booker died there? She is obviously alive cause Elizabeth did not experience any memory shlock. If she remained in columbia how could we never run in her, or if she escaped why Comstock ain't suprised at her return or Booker being alive all sudden? [/sp] Kinda bothers me.
i like to think that [sp]any person who shares a SIMILAR timeline to whoever goes through a tear merges with the one that comes through the tear, which explains why we never see another booker or elizabeth until the end in the multiverse.[/sp]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/eUXauzT.jpg[/t] Anybody know where the key is?
Spoiler for this specific bit: [sp]keep advancing and searching every nook & cranny, and you'll find the key a bit ahead of that spot. Backtrack after you find the key to this area.[/sp]
Also I wonder if [sp]Booker actually gains elizabeth's powers to walk through tears in time and space, considering past the asylum he seems like he can do that easily by himself [he's the one who walks through all the doors, remember?], not counting the fact that he basically does this every time you die in the game. But he probably doesn't have much control over things enough to open tears himself. Keep in mind elizabeth had this gift at a very young age from "universe jumping", so she grew up with it. It seems like booker "gains" this gift as well from him jumping through elizabeth's tears to the point that he can take advantage of a tear himself. Maybe because of this, he doesn't actually die at the end? After all, you don't ever really die in the game either. Maybe at that point he begins to truely awaken to him having the gift now, to the point where he (and elizabeth, and the lutice twins) are all basically demi-gods/immortals of sorts. They have this innate special knowledge of how the universe works and as such the universe is now them and they are in control of it. Though all the other multiverse elizabeth's do disappear when you drown at the end, so maybe this is totally bullshit lol[/sp] [editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
I just had the most random theory involving Booker, pointless but a possibility.. [sp]So, the first dream sequence involves Booker opening the door to see Columbia attacking New York from the bad future that future!Elizabeth shows him near the end of the game. He talks about this dream to Elizabeth too, who definitely seems troubled by it and sees it herself I think. Not sure on that. What if Booker was gaining the very basics of the same timeline/tear-seeing capabilities that Elizabeth gained over the years, by existing in a dimension as an alternate self paradoxically compared to Elizabeth merely existing as a paradox in a world where she was never born in the first place? This would require the Lutece explanation for the universe not liking its 'peas mixed with its porridge' referring to Elizabeth existing in one world as a person from another rather than referring to her pinky being left behind and thus existing across two worlds at once. But other than Booker somehow gaining memories from another alt-self or the Luteces implanting that one manually, it's the only explanation for him seeing that dream.[/sp]
Ahaha holy fuck I literally posted the same exact thing at the same time :v: Are you me from [sp]another multiverse? :o[/sp]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/eUXauzT.jpg[/t] Anybody know where the key is?
It's at the place where the crow cult is, it's right after you kill the cult(not the crow) iirc. also does anyone know how to get inside the crypt thing on the right of the place where you first fight the siren? There's a gear box there but I cant get inside [IMG_THUMB]http://i.imgur.com/TCPzaI2.jpg[/IMG_THUMB] Also for the 1000th time, the siren is a fucking bitch on hard. And[sp]I think I'm getting too paranoid here but I noticed on that place you fight Lady Comstock, to the left of the Lutece's graves there's a grave written "HOARDER" by the vox populi I presume, but the man inside looks an awful lot like male Lutece, I'll try to get some pics[/sp] Images may contain spoilers [sp]Ok, here's the graves:[/sp] http://i.imgur.com/gHiPeke.jpg [sp]Inside the "HOARDER" grave is this man:[/sp] http://i.imgur.com/WC3Hzyf.jpg [sp]Which looks a lot like:[/sp] http://i.imgur.com/lXwlrXP.jpg [sp]If we compare[/sp] http://i.imgur.com/gHa7S1m.jpg [sp]With[/sp] http://i.imgur.com/bdkH5xq.jpg [sp]I don't know, seems odd, must be a coincidence[/sp]
TBH This game officially makes Bioshock the new Half-Life in terms of the bar it sets for FPS games and how its basically a cornerstone of the medium. Half-life was that game duo last gen and bioshock is that game duo this gen Okay so who's gonna make Bioshock's version of garry's mod and facepunch [sp]lol multiverse[/sp] [sp]actually if you think about it half life is bioshock, but just from a different universe, but in our universe someone brought both into the same timeline fucking hell i'm up way to late don't listen to me lol[/sp]
[sp]A man. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q7nkuS2g5kY/T_AZ6KgU1dI/AAAAAAAAA2I/9PMPozkTKkw/s1600/Halflife+2+Gordon+Freeman+4.jpg A city. http://cache.kotaku.com/images/2006/06/750px-HalfLife2_City17_TrainStationSquare.jpg A lighthouse. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100331120755/half-life/en/images/0/0e/Lighthouse_Point.jpg[/sp]

These guides can help you find the locked chests and the keys for them: BioShock Infinite: Comstock Center Rooftops Locked Chest and Key BioShock Infinite: Shantytown Locked Chest and Key hope this helps!
[sp]You just need a man and a city...[/sp]
[t]http://combineoverwiki.net/images/f/f6/Lighthouse_from_grass.jpg[/t] Holy fuck.
[sp]What if Bioshock Infinite "stole" Half Life 3's story.[/sp]
Looks like I can't back track. Fucking game won't let me.
[sp]Speculation: the moment you did that, she disappears and/or becomes anna again [as alluded to in the post-credits scene], because at that moment that is all you needed to do to garuntee the loop being closed.[/sp]
[sp]It makes ending really sad in my opinion. I really wanted to keep THAT Elizabeth alive, she was the best in my eyes. So wrong that there are not other endings, just that one (which is great somehow). I know that Booker now might be happy with her Anna, but... she is not Elizabeth...[/sp]
Actually its kind of funny if you think about it Most people living in columbia would probably be gasping for oxygen every time they do something as simple as walk up a small slope with how high they are in the sky
They're able to keep the city up using suspended molecules, i wouldn't doubt they're able create some sort of self sustaining source of oxygen that would supply more then enough oxygen as if you were at sea level
This sounds pathetic I suppose, but I can't even get to sleep now. My mind is so fucked at this moment. I was a little uncomfortable [sp]when I found out that she's your freakin' daughter[/sp] but I got over it quickly and it was cool.... but that fucking ending man... It just blew my goddamned mind. Kevine Levine is a master when it comes to writing, that's all I can say. And the people who spent ALL THIS TIME putting EVERY LITTLE DETAIL into this fucking GAME! I can't even really call it just a game, there's a story that I actually was affected by, instead of just simple shoot and scoot entertainment! I mean all the little details, the shadows, the candles, the lightning, the people, the expressions, the emotions, it all affected me like I was watching a drama on HBO. DAMN!
After beating the game I finally get what this "head and tails" thing was about ;)
can you pick tails for the raffle? if so what happens?
[sp]What if Bioshock Infinite "stole" Half Life 3's story.[/sp]
You can't steal something that doesn't exist.
there aren't any portals in bioshock infini- oh wait... SHIT THEY'RE FUCKIN RIGHT MAN!!!
Does anyone have the soundclip, of [sp] the songbird's warning whistle tune that plays from the statues?[/sp] I really want that as a ringtone. Never mind, got it here.
Looks like I can't back track. Fucking game won't let me.
For the first treasure chest in the rooftops? Jump through the window.
I just realized something. For those of you who have finished it, you know how at the end after [sp]Booker's been drowned, and all the Anna's begin to disappear?[/sp] It's actually a happy ending, and here's why. [sp]That specific Booker DeWitt and Comstock are now dead. Comstock in all the universes never had a child, because he became religious and never met his wife, founding Colombia. Booker DeWitt never sells Anna in any other timeline other than the one where he was drowned, so now all of the Anna's that were there to drown Booker (along with many others possibly) are now simply Anna, with Booker DeWitt. They do not know of their powers (or aren't using them somehow) and things take a route of normalcy. They technically fixed what the twins broke. [/sp]
Just finished the game, I'm pumped to click on all the spoiler tags!
I'm in shanty town about how far in of the game am I?(or how far to go) I want to click all these spoilers and get on to 1999 mode!
is there a way to turn off the horrendous motion blur?
I'm in shanty town about how far in of the game am I?(or how far to go) I want to click all these spoilers and get on to 1999 mode!
Eh you are about half way through or so.
is there a way to turn off the horrendous motion blur?
Documents/My Games/Bioshock Infinite/XGame/Config/XEngine.ini MotionBlur=False I personally didn't find the motion blur to be superfluous, I don't know why you'd call it horrendous
Oh god Return to Sender Vigor is a must for the [sp]Lady Comstock[/sp] battles in 1999 mode, it made them so much easier, just right click hold to collect all incoming projectiles then throw it right back at[sp]her face[/sp] That and the Overkill Boots, and I didn't die in any of the three battles. I can't believe I barely used that vigor in the first playthrough, it's bloody glorious.
