Oh boy, just finished the game.
Massive mind fuckery.
Mid game question:
[sp]So there's this hairpin locked house in emporium towers, which features 2 broken elevators and nothing else other than a small ambush. Is there anything interesting in this room?[/sp]
Documents/My Games/Bioshock Infinite/XGame/Config/XEngine.ini
MotionBlur=False
I personally didn't find the motion blur to be superfluous, I don't know why you'd call it horrendous
Thanks. I generally dislike motion blur, it doesnt make me seasick or anything but it just makes everything so ugly and not crisp i dont know why they would do this to a game.
Mid game question:

If it's the place i'm thinking of you'll come back to there.
I just realized something. For those of you who have finished it, you know how at the end after [sp]Booker's been drowned, and all the Anna's begin to disappear?[/sp] It's actually a happy ending, and here's why. [sp]That specific Booker DeWitt and Comstock are now dead. Comstock in all the universes never had a child, because he became religious and never met his wife, founding Colombia. Booker DeWitt never sells Anna in any other timeline other than the one where he was drowned, so now all of the Anna's that were there to drown Booker (along with many others possibly) are now simply Anna, with Booker DeWitt. They do not know of their powers (or aren't using them somehow) and things take a route of normalcy. They technically fixed what the twins broke. [/sp]
[sp]Comstock never existed in any other dimensions after DeWitt was killed. Neither did Elizabeth or Columbia. That's what makes the ending quite sad really, because the girl you hung around with the entire game will eventually sieze to exist, just like Comstock. There will never be the same Elizabeth that we got to know.[/sp]
[sp]Though DeWitt WILL live in another dimension with Anna and will never end up losing her to Comstock, because he never existed.[/sp]
Awesomely written game, my my.
If you read/download the original Bioshock pitch here: http://irrationalgames.com/insider/from-the-vault-may/
And you scroll down to the section detailing the story, you can see some similarities with infinite, pretty interesting stuff:

[sp]Yep, I find that ending really sad. I just can't think that Elizabeth I knew from game never existed after you finish it, it just can't be that way. I just want another timeline with THAT Booker and THAT Elizabeth : ([/sp]

[sp]This ending is so complex, it's both sad and very happy. That is since Booker gets to live with his daughter, yet Elizabeth makes the ultimate sacrifice, she never even existed.
Though I believe that through Booker's intonation when he said: "Anna? Is that you?" in the after credits bit, we can assume he remembers the journey he's been through with Elizabeth.[/sp]
End-game spoliers, and my own opinion about the ending:
[sp]Whole game I thougt there will be two endings - either I travel with Elizabeth to Paris or NY(I would've chose Paris, though). But hell no, I got this massive brainstorm(a good one) and I love this ending. But one thing that makes me sad - there won't be Elizabeth we've known. There'll be just Anna, possible a whole different person, OR, perhaps, Elizabeth's memories would have remained with Anna...But I still would like to the ending to be with Elizabeth, the one we were traveling along-side all the game, not (maybe)random Anna...[/sp]

[sp]I hope so does Anna. I hope she remembers all this stuff what has happened to her, even though I doubt she can open Tears now - her finger might be fine now.[/sp]

[sp]Yes, we would all like that. Except you have to remember that Elizabeth has suffered alone in that tower for 15 years (since her imprisonment in age 5). That is actually the "best" possible outcome of all this, since she is spared of her unnecessary suffering.
But still, she lives in Booker's memories.[/sp]

[sp]But she's still a cutie. :(
And I'd prefer this to be implemented somehow, but I highly doubt that will happen. No Paris trip, I suppose...[/sp]
By the way, just noticed.
[sp]AD = Anna DeWitt[/sp]
Just completed 1999. That was insane.
[sp] Figured out more proof that Booker=Ryan and other shit.
They both created a utopia(Booker as Comstock, Ryan as Ryan)
they we both killed by their child(Ryan by Jack, Booker by Elizabeth, meaning Elizabeth is Jacks parallel)
they both "lost" their child(Jack was purchaser by Tennabaum/Fontain as an embryo, Anna was taken by Luteces) who were the parallel to Tenebaum, Tenebaum created ADAM/Plasmids/Little Sisters the entire basis of Rapture, Luteces created the floating tech, Quatum physic shit, and Tears the basis of Columbia
they both fought a civil war(Rapture Civil War, and Columbia Civil War with Vox Populi)
Both Ryan and Comstock had a "Final straw" or life changing event, Ryan with the Hiroshima bombing and Booker with wounded knee, which completely changed everything and eventually got Booker to create Columbia as Comstock after the baptize, and Ryan went to build Rapture.
Also these 2 images.
This one first http://i.imgur.com/cxlQTwC.png to give an idea.
Then THIS one is the picture being drawn by the police at the start of the game in the womens house, she is trying to describe booker, she doesnt really know what he looks like, thinks he has red curly hair and shit, but the drawing looks awfully like Andrew Ryan and nothing like Booker which was suspicious http://i.imgur.com/2wE4Gef.jpg
Same little mustache, in a suit.[/sp]
[sp]She doesn't live in bookers memories, because the Booker that was left alive, never even knew Elizabeth existed. The whole beauty in this is the fact that Elizabeth has NEVER existed after the ending. Only thing that comes close to Elizabeth is Anna, and she is a whole different person. In the end, there isn't and never was the Elizabeth we got to know.[/sp]

[sp] Indeed, especially that you "take control" of him indicates that you are still that Booker, who went through all Columbia to get Elizabeth. Otherwise, it would be just black screen with some "Oh Anna, I love you" or some other stuff like that where you are just a spectator[/sp]

Same, anyone that can finish 1999 without purchasing from a Dollar Bill deserves a medal.

It includes all 3 vending machines, right?
Because I only used ones for upgrading weapons and vigors, and no achievement.

No, you forgot to read my post before that:

Also, like Avager says, [sp]the fact that you take control of Booker means that he is still YOUR Booker, and not some out of a cutscene Booker.[/sp]
Stuck on the [sp]Lady Comstock fight[/sp] on 1999 mode, no more ammo, no more salts, almost no more money
HELP
I can't even run and grab ammo somewhere, I get instant killed, damn
Dude [sp] that shit.
[sp]if booker remembered everything in the end, then why shouldn't anna?[/sp]
[sp]if booker remembered everything in the end, then why shouldn't anna?[/sp]
[sp]Because Anna isn't Elizabeth in that particular dimension. At least that's how I figured it.[/sp]

the fuck? :v:
Tempted to start a new 1999 run now, without using dollar bill machines.
You get quite a lot of gear at the start with the industrial revolution + early bird season pass bonus, so I doubt it'll be an issue really.
