Then you should have breaks so you can pay attention to the actual story seeing how one-sitting did you no good.
Then you should have breaks so you can pay attention to the actual story seeing how one-sitting did you no good.
I played through one sitting and i understood it all, he might just have not payed enough attention.
Anyone who said this game was too easy is a fucking liar, [sp]Lady Comstock has to be one of the most annoying bosses I have ever fought in a game. Plus turrets are demon spawn.[/sp]

I didn't imply that, the message was solely aimed at him.

1999 mode is even more of a pain in the ass.

no it's not that, it's the ending man, it's like wat.
I wasn't that satisfied with that ending, but it sure is a bioshock ending. just wish we could have a spar with that kickass bird, in an epic battle to decide who will keep elizabeth.
Would've degraded the entire plot to the level of hollywood pomp and thus ruined it.
no it's not that, it's the ending man, it's like wat.
Are you sober?
i'd rather have a mindfuck ending full of meanings, than some overblown boss fight
that's what ruined the first bioshock's ending
[editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
not that endgame boss fights are bad, it just didn't really fit into the first bioshock and one wouldn't fit into infinite either
Are you sober?
yes.
but i mean, it was kind of amazing, kind of a mindfuck, kind of i dont even know what happened right here.

SCREAMER DO NOT CLICK YOU FUCKERS
Don't quote the screamer link you dimwits.
I'll wait and see for the Season's pass, though if it is extra story content, and with the same level of work put into it, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
WELP, I'm gonna go buy the season pass now, I suggest everyone else does the same. First game in a long time I've dropped this much money on.
I'm not, I'll buy the DLC on a case by case basis, if it's good I'll get it, if it's some boring powerup dlc I think I'll pass.
Don't quote the screamer link you dimwits.
well obviously the post wasn't deleted when we quoted it
Im so lucky to miss both of those.
[sp]So I'm playing again and I just finished the exhibits in the Hall of Heroes, and when Booker and Elizabeth are talking, Booker asks "What if you woke up one day and realized you didn't like what you chose?".
So much foreshadowing that it's just beautiful[/sp]
Yeah this really is a game you need to go back and replay, I've been replaying it myself and I've picked up on certain things such as [sp]seeing the Lutece's through the binoculars, and certain foreshadowing things like the baptism at the beginning[/sp]

I dunno, I think they realize they've hit gold and are gonna release some very interesting DLC. Sequels, prequels, a different perspective in Columbia, etc.

sorry :(
well obviously the post wasn't deleted when we quoted it
I saved you two from the wrath of postal.
fucker
yeah i just beat it, ending was really fantastic
11/10 it was okay
[editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
my biggest issues of the game are as follows though
1) too short, only 9.5 hours for me on hard
2) a tad bit too easy, guys just got dead real quick
3)[sp]boys of silence[/sp] had a very small appearance, you only saw like 3 of them throughout the entire game
4)elizabeth tossing you ammo/salts/health all the time made the game a bit too easy. wish she'd tone it down
hopefully my problems with the difficulty will fuck off when i play through on 1999 mode

Exploration of other areas would be great, I'd love to see [sp]a DLC were you go through the handy man factory, and see how they're made, like the *bioshock one spoiler just in case* big daddy factory in the first bioshock[/sp]
i really hated the guys with the hellfire/whatever guns. they resembled the regular grunts, but for some reason they were massive bullet sponges. pretty much the worst enemies in the game.

Shoot the helmet off and just aim for the head. They're not that bad unless you run out of ammo like I did right at the end of the game.
I used mostly melee once I got charge
fire on melee hit
salts on kill (40% chance)
health on melee kill(100% chance)
enemy takes 50% more damage for 5 seconds if I melee them
maxed out charge(shield regen + invincibility on use were amazing)
i could basically maul an entire room to pieces
i could one hit turrets
fun as fuck
charge is probs the best vigor
Just finished it yesterday. Amazing ending.
I noticed a few things through the game that made me suspect (HUGE spoilers)[sp]Booker might be Comstock[/sp], though not necessarily in the way I thought. Here's what clued me in:
[sp]When you first meet Comstock, he quotes "Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt" back to you. He is also the only person in Colombia to know you exist.
In one conversation, Dewitt said he was "south of 40, north of [Elizabeth]" in terms of age. In the Hall of Heroes, a timeline of Zachary Comstock's life lists him as born in 1874, making him only 38. Not only does this fit Booker's timeline, but Comstock sure doesn't look 38.
The fact that both Booker and Comstock both claimed to be at Wounded Knee. Not conclusive evidence, but I thought it was an odd coincidence.
Finally, there was the fact that both were heartbroken over their dead wives. Here I was wrong; I figured out 'AD' was Anna DeWitt, but I figured Anna was his wife who died in childbirth, not the child. And I also didn't know yet that Comstock murdered his wife.[/sp]
