What I love most about the ending is the discussion it created. It's thought provoking and interesting instead of being a predictable "2 type" ending (awww dey got to pawiss :DDD)

But I wanted to go to [sp]Paris[/sp] :suicide:
Still an amazing ending though.

If they added an "awww dey got to pawiss :DDD" ending, it would probably be on some difficulty like Easy, then it would go to shit in some way, requiring the player to do a higher difficulty to see the "true ending".
Please spoiler tag, some people may have not beat it yet.

Yep, this is how you do a "speculation for everyone" kind of ending.

But that's really not a spoiler though.
But that's really not a spoiler though.
I dunno, maybe I'm just naive but [sp]I thought it was possible they would make it to Paris early on :( [/sp]

yeah, Casey Hudson need to head over to Irrational games to get some story writing lessons.

Same V:
I started going "oh nope" after a while tho

Lessons don't give you creativity which is present in this game, no matter how hard you try.
[sp]i really hope there's like some sort of a dlc where you can just go to paris with elizabeth and kill a few baddies there and see the eiffel tower and stuff. would be awesome to see her dream fulfilled :< [/sp]

I wasn't really suggesting he should actually have lessons, I was just conveying the point that he's shit at writing coherent endings.

[sp] If the DLC is alternate universes where things happen different, I will be so happy. [/sp]
though really at this point I trust Irrational games with any DLC they put out

[sp]It's okay, it's okay, let go now...let go. Just let....go[/sp]
This last level is so much fucking bullshit,
I always get down to the last fucking wave [sp]and the core blows up[/sp].
today i saw an Easter rabbit shaped bubble soap container and i instantly thought "oh sweet a rabbit vigor"

Playing on normal, is it bad that I didn't even realize i had to [sp]protect the core[/sp] until it was over? :v:

It took me two tries or so but I got it, I found that using possession on the patriots was really useful, especially because it would distract them from [sp] shooting the core [/sp]
It's pretty bullshit yes, but ehh.

I just wish I would get maybe an auto-save halfway through it with how difficult it is.
It's like the sharpest difficulty curve ever

[sp] Then you see rule 34 of Booker and Elizabeth...well that's one way for father and daughter to bond [/sp] :v:
Great game, but a little to short for me, had it done in 10-12 hours.
[sp]plus i had to look up a guide on the ending because it frankly made no sense[/sp]
but nothing can beat the ending to bioshock 2, shit made me tear up :v:
So, I've been looking around in the files for the game today and I made a small mod that makes all the guns in the game have their actual names.
Link if anyone would like to try it!
[sp]I think I managed to fix the few typos I made, please PM me if you notice any others.[/sp]

[sp]YOU DIDN'T CRY WHEN THE BABY WAS TAKEN THROUGH THE TEAR!?[/sp]
What is wrong with you

[sp]jumping around space and time is disorienting[/sp]
So did anyone actually manage to piece together everything in the ending, or did it take another go to get it? Yes spoilers: the ending is awesome but it takes you a while to figure out.
[sp]I sort of understood it. Booker and Comstock are the same person. I was mostly just staring dumbstruck as the credits were rolling. At first I thought the ending was sad. Then the post-credits scene came up: not so sad ending!
Then I realize the Elizabeth we fought with is dead and erased forever. Sad ending again :([/sp]
I am completely fine with the [sp]theory that he remembers everything, I'd like to believe that, after what he has been through, he takes his daughter to Paris, and his journey through Columbia becoming Anna's bedtime story.[/sp]
Third attempt of ending mission and got it,
[sp]just pick up the sniper and possess the patriots, let them take out the enemies, then shoot them in the back.
The rocket guys that go on the catwalk just possess them, they will shoot some enemies below and then commit suicide, then just use the bird on all the ships. Ship had a bit more than half of its health remaining when I beat it[/sp]
[sp]I played through the zeppelin on hard, died a few times, but never lost the core. Did no one else use the Songbird on the deck of the ship or something? He instakills everything underneath him and the cooldown isn't that bad if he's only attacking the deck.[/sp]

just saying
water hurts the patriots / mosquitoes a SHIT LOAD
it makes them short circuit and does a shitload of damage + stuns them
[sp]who gave you the letter at the beginning? the one with the "dont take the number 77" Lutece brothers? [/sp]
