Big claim, but i think that was the best game i've ever played.
God damn.

/v/ was actually hating on Bioshock Infinite for "HURR ARROW IN THE KNEE XD" when it came out
They'll hate anything for any reason, no matter how false
I'm missing something with that image
Wounded Knee was an actual battle that took place, but people who aren't aware of that battle might mistake it for Skyrim's "Arrow to the Knee" joke/meme.

Almost as good of a Skyrim reference as Marie Antoinette's Portal reference.
Just finished the game. Great ending.
Now to speculate the fuck out of it.
do [sp]comstock and booker have the same voice actor[/sp]
Let's fine more stupidity!

I don't understand how people can be so stupid
[editline]d[/editline]
But this is the internet, so it happens.
you really don't?
do [sp]comstock and booker have the same voice actor[/sp]
Don't you think that would have been a little obvious?
I don't understand how people can be so stupid
Not everyone is american. We don't get taught about your history.
liz is fucking awesome. she's probably one of the best video game characters i've ever encountered.
it's not just her writing, VO, facial animation, it's the fact that she's the most organic form of ingame support ever. i think my favorite thing is how she vocally points out things in the game world. like for instance if you've missed an area or two before the level ends she'll chim in and say something to notify you that there's still unexplored space. this actually makes the fact that the game is fairly linear in level progression, perfectly fine, which is something i fucking hate and am never okay with (although i tolerate it).
it's actually things like this, basically the fact that something ingame has earned my respect, that i empathize with their character.
i could have sworn she made a verbal sound of distress every time i killed someone or got hit at one point. it actually made me feel bad.

I think it was explained fairly well in the movie Idiocracy.
Not everyone is american. We don't get taught about your history.
this guy actually does have a point
although the people who fucking colonized this place in the first fuckin place should be taught a lesson or two in how they and then the descendants of their countries natives royally fucked over what was essentially an incredibly beautiful place and people. as an american i kinda feel even worse for the natives than i do any other group that's been fucked.

He tagged "#pc" so I'm assuming he's playing on the PC.
Yet he took a picture of his screen with a camera.

I'm a Norwegian and I'd actually heard of the Wounded Knee massacre previously. I'm not sure where, but I knew it as an example of pure stupidity.
Though to be fair I have a large fascination for native American culture and I've probably read about it while doing my own research.
But still, thinking it's a Skyrim reference is pretty dumb regardless of having heard about it previously or not.
Liz is the best NPC because she's hot.
But still, thinking it's a Skyrim reference is pretty dumb regardless of having heard about it previously or not.
Yeah I'm not denying that it's still dumb as fuck.
it's to bad there's no youtube clip of chef saying "it's true"
even still though the fact that they built this character so well that you can make the player like a character in really no way any other form of media has done quite like this.
like i get the feeling liz actually has my back even though it's all programming.
[sp]lol @ those people that thought Booker and Liz would develop a romantic relationship[/sp]
He tagged "#pc" so I'm assuming he's playing on the PC.

well to be fair i have had times when i pressed print screen in a full screen game but the saved screenshot was black.
but i'm sure he was just stupid though
The ending was FUCKING AWESOME.
[sp]I can see all the different dimensions and universes typing up to the similarities of Rapture and Columbia.
How Andrew & Jack Ryan can have the same exact thing going on years before the events of Infinite.[/sp]
So, I just finished it (woo).
I actually thought the game was pretty shit at first. The way they kept holding information back from you meant you knew a twist was coming when it did.
But then damn, the last quarter of the game was one bombshell after the other. Everything that I had hated about the story progression was obliterated away. Fantastic game; arguably the best game ending ever.
Liz is the best NPC because she's hot.
[sp]Who?[/sp]
[sp]i just found the second tear (of the 3) inside the bank while fighting the first lady's ghost[/sp]
how close am i to finishing the game, like 3/4 or something?

[sp]It's not before infinite, bioshock takes place in an alternate universe to infinite (chronologically it's actually 70~ or so years later[/sp]
I hope this game sets the trend for amazing storytelling and vivid graphics over the repeated shit over and over.
Doesn't look like it though.

It's called a buildup.
I just remembered that only like 30 minutes into the game [sp]when you talk with Comstock for the first time via the large screen, your nose starts to fleed. Is that the consequence of Booker entering the Comstock-Booker universe?[/sp]

I'd say so yeah. You've got another 2-3 hours depending on how slowly you play.
