That whole coin tossing thing was kind of silly, especially when it happens after some sort of poignant moment. Like Elizabeth makes some sad remark about pointless violence or something then WOOSH MATRIX COIN TOSS.
[sp]Who?[/sp]
Are you fucking serious
[sp]It's not before infinite, bioshock takes place in an alternate universe to infinite (chronologically it's actually 70~ or so years later[/sp]
I hope this game sets the trend for amazing storytelling and vivid graphics over the repeated shit over and over.
Doesn't look like it though.
Thanks for explanation, there can be so many theories just based off the ending it's crazy

[sp]Never heard of her.
This is a really poor attempt at a joke[/sp]
today at work i had a 20 year old female co-worker that wanted to hand me something and i was *this* close to expecting her to throw it like a coin
Did you press the F button?
Did anyone else get serious chills when [sp]Elizabeth says "There's always a man, and there's always a city"?[/sp]
(ending spoilers)
At battleship bay, walking in the indoors area to the second part of the beach, did anyone see the pistol ammo in the pram and think of the revolver from the first Bioshock that the splicer was singing to?
It's called a buildup.
Nah. It has nothing to do with buildup. If you keep the audience in the dark for 90% of the movie, and then actually reveal the information in the remaining 10% of the time, it's poor flow. It makes the audience expect some twist, some sort of obvious ploy to wrap up the story. There's a reason why rising action to the climax has increasing intensity.
What I meant to say is: [sp]early in the game it's very visible shit is messed up in the city. The problem is, the game keeps throwing you on tangents with all this Vox vs. Comstock stuff, and all these micro-twists dealing with the tears and stuff. Obviously the game is trying to get some baseline exposition so the player can understand the story, but having to jump through tear after tear gets annoying because the hours of gameplay rack up but your story progression is very minimal. The game only really corrects that towards the final 60%. Really, the game only starts to build up when you get to the Lady Comstock ghost sequence.[/sp]
okay why can't i move my view around on rails?...
[sp]I found the best way to do the final mission was to go to the very top of the air ship where the snipers spawn have a carbine and a sniper and pick off the enemies one by one, trying your best to get head shots. Just be careful when the air ships come from behind there are turrets on them.[/sp]
May have been posted, but man some things in this game is just so damn awesome.
Remember this?

Elizabeth even spins the damn key to show that illusion.
I totally rebound like all my keys to be much more efficient for a keyboard.
ADS is now right click, E is use (it did nothing before), and F fires vigors.
I don't know why I would have to stretch my pinky back to get better aiming, it was silly
[sp]The book she hits you with is called "The History of Quantum Mechanics" as well[/sp]
[sp]What relevance does the choice between the cage and the bird for the pendant thing have?[/sp]

Middle mouse button did ADS for me by default.

I never saw a reason for ADS anyway. The guns are accurate enough from the hip (besides the sniper, but I barely used it), which I suspect is why it's bound to a dumb key like Z.

Merely cosmetic.

It was amazing for the handcannon and Pistol, which were my primaries in my first playthrough
Left click fire, Right click zoom, G for vigors. Easy and simple.

I swear, I carried the same shotgun for the entire fucking game :v:

I binded my aim to right mouse, and vigor use to one of my side mouse buttons. I say it works out pretty well.

[sp]Well its obvious the same thing happened to her as to what happens to you when you fall off[/sp]

I don't really know what your getting at because the whole journey to the ending is to make you care about whats happening and I am pretty sure it did a good job of that.
Alright so just started up 1999, I am right at finkton now.
So far I've invested everything into Shields and salts. I'm also investing all of my money into weapon upgrades exempt for the mind control one and return to sender once I get it. I've only died 4 times up to this point but I know the games difficulty spikes right around this point so fingers crossed.

Also something else I noticed, in the model of the city you see after battleship bay there is a picture 9seen left of the gun) that says comstock on it but the picture looks nothing like him

I'm wondering if it has any significance.

It didn't for me. I honestly didn't care about anything but figuring out stuff about Elizabeth. I don't care about the Vox, I don't care about the citizens, Fink, anything really.
That's what I'm getting at; the game did a poor job on convincing me any of that stuff mattered. That's why I only really started enjoying it towards the end.

That's an old poster from when Irrational still had Comstock as a politician.
