So I beat the game recently and was wondering, did they ever say what Booker's debt was exactly?

Here's what I'm noticing on my second playthrough: -When Booker gets in the rocket, he has no feet. I mean, usually the no feet thing wouldn't bother me, but on this playthrough it kinda does. -Does loot increase the lower the difficulty level? I'm finding a lot more than on my first playthrough -Is it wrong for me to suspect at least one [sp]Leutece (sic)[/sp] is in the area with the priest? I'm kinda paranoid -As I said before in a previous post, [sp]The priest had the intention of drowning Booker when he came in, probably because of the AD on his hand (which booker nonchalantly used to grab the priest's hand). He probably succeeded, and the twins brought a different Booker to replace him and gave him his memories.[/sp] Pretty cool stuff, honestly. I'll probably post more later, really only if something pops out to me.
[sp]I felt really bad for Elizabeth when she was excited to hear the rebellion had started likening it to Les Miserables, only to see they're all lead by a crazy psychopath and are just as terrible as the founders.[/sp]
[sp]I probably wasn't the only one who noticed this, but they started out as regular guys with red scarves and bandanas, and gradually they started to wear blood-stained evil looking armor, and had creepy donny darko-tier fox masks[/sp]
How the hell is it boring?
i think it's because i'm trying to explore everything in my first playthough since i know i'll probably never touch it again after i beat it the first time, so once you clear an area of bad guys and spend 20 minutes searching around for audio voxes and shit it just becomes dull rinse-and-repeat crapola
Gambling, [sp]which is why he gave away Anna to wipe away the debt[/sp]
[sp]So was it the same Booker that tried wipe away it with his daughter then Elizabeth, or two different Bookers[/sp] [sp]Also the idea of the twins bringing back Booker after the priest drowns him and he still has his memories, It makes me think that they brought back Booker post credits (since it seems like he still has his memories), however weren't the twins separated (or non-existent as twins) when Comstock/Booker drowned (I recall there was an audio log of the female Luetece saying when it's over she and her brother will be seperated)?[/sp]
ALRIGHT ENOUGH PRAISE. Now it's time to do what I do with every game I play. Find a way to shit all over it. First off, the guns were bland and not cool compared to Bioshock 1 (not counting 2 because I never finished it). Although the mechanics are much better, they just don't seem visually appealing and they lack the upgrades you could get in Bioshock 1. I mean, fuck, half of the guns in the game were just literal reskins of others. Like this. You got this Then you have this. Sure, they act a bit differently, but they're the same fucking gun. There's also a lot of things I think they could have improved on, like the gear system, but I'm going to wait to rail on those until I go through the game a second time.

What even was the reward for that industrial revolution mini-game for supporting a certain faction? I gave every single thing to the Vox because they were rebelling against Comstock, then they turned into giant pricks.
Well when you put it into perspective, the heater is an earlier version of the normal shotgun in-game, so they would look the same, somewhat.
Not dismissing that at all, that's a fine justification, but from an aesthetic standpoint it's not a good idea. It's an FPS game. It's going to blow if you have to look down the barrel of nearly identical looking guns a lot of the time, so variety is key. The upgrades in BS1 made it so you get a physical understanding of how souped-up your guns are and shit, instead of just having a random filled-in bubble in the gameplay menu that wasn't used aside from changing your pants. They should have done that. Then again, the "drop guns and pick up new ones a lot" kind of gameplay really eliminated the possibility of that.

And the maximum having of having two weapons made the game more "realistic" and a bit more challenging than having an armory of weapons in your pocket.
ALRIGHT ENOUGH PRAISE. Now it's time to do what I do with every game I play. Find a way to shit all over it.
Is it that time? I'll give it a go. - Enemy AI is extremely challenging, but you can occasionally take advantage of an exploit wherein enemies will not follow you into a previous room/area for some odd reason. This is how I survived a few boss fights. - Random NPCs suffer a bit too much from clone syndrome, and their animations are usually more wooden than that of a main character which can be jarring. - [sp]Songbird was arguably under utilized.[/sp] - Some of the guns felt borderline useless (Burstgun and Repeater for me) - Elizabeth interacts with the environment less and less as the game goes on, though that might have been intentional. I'm sure there's more. Didn't really detract from my experience though.

I NEVER had issues with ammo playing through, and I mostly used the handcannon and shotgun. Elizabeth frequently throws you a full mag + some of ammo, so I never really had to scavenge much.

I saw maybe.... 3 Handymans, and 3 Boys of Silence at the end of the game. BoS were very disappointing. Aside from the Patriot, they didn't really have an introduction or anything, they just kind of popped up and Elizabeth instantly knew what they were and was able to call them out. [editline]30th March 2013[/editline] The game felt too easy on players, too. There wasn't enough punishment for dying. You just lose a bit of your money and have to reappear a room away. This is terrible because in addition to that.. 1. You get a lot of your health back 2. You get a ton of ammo 3. Enemies deaggro.

Like the whole "No Sins escape his gaze" thing and just his general disturbing appearance had me shaking in my boots. [sp]And holy shit when that one pops up behind you... Fuck that, I thought that was a bioshock 1 thing[/sp]
Never saw this interview [sp]The devs wanted to cut Elizabeth from the game because she was too challenging to deal with. Same with Big Daddies from Bioshock 1[/sp]

[sp]Those guys were really terrifying in the single level they appeared in, but I reaaaallly wish they put more into them. They were great, but I wanted more, not just 3 or 4 standing in a few rooms that are pretty easily avoided if you take cover[/sp] [editline]30th March 2013[/editline] I'm going to play through Bioshock 1 again.
- Elizabeth interacts with the environment less and less as the game goes on, though that might have been intentional.
I was kinda glad she stopped being so curious when she found this interesting. [t]http://puu.sh/2r2B0[/t]
I was kinda glad she stopped being so curious when she found this interesting. [t]http://puu.sh/2r2B0[/t]
She probably found a lockpick or some money.
so what's everyone's favourite weapon??? i personally really liked the carbine and burstgun for a long time before i discovered how great the hail fire was, then i replaced my carbine with it but then waaaay near the end i realized the volley gun is way better than the hail fire when it's fully upgraded (i mean 24 shots per magazine, 48 total? PRETTY GREAT) and to be honest i never even fired one shot from either the rpg or the hand cannon
She probably found a lockpick or some money.
I don't recall her giving me anything at the time. But dear god I hope she didn't. Knowing that she probably picked a lock or tossed me some money that was probably sitting in a piss covered piece of porcelain, makes me wish I never walked into there.

Calling it now: whatever porno comes out based on the game will feature Booker and the [sp]7 Elizabethw "smothering" him[/sp]
