The audio prioritizing in this game is just wonderful. With the whole quest talk > audio log > radio and smalltalk
The handcannon is so satisfying to use, it's unreal. I dropped it once to change things up a little and wasn't comfortable till I found it again later.
do they explain where vigors come from
[sp]I thought the Comstock masks with their creepy glowing eyes might do something jump-scarey, but no, it was the god damn Boy of Silence.[/sp]
[sp]Hilariously, I made the jump scare be a bit retardant. Right after pulling the lever, I turned around and saw him there. And he just stood there for three seconds until I aimed at him before he freaked out.[/sp]
[sp]Died defending the Zeppelin from the Vox[/sp] [sp]No money[/sp] [sp]You died and cannot afford to be resurrected. You will be returned to the main menu[/sp]
What a brilliant game. Both "Will the circle be unbroken" gave me shivers, really beautiful moments.
don't forget the [sp]wheelchair with the mask on it[/sp] [sp]I took off my headphones for the rest of that level, I fucking knew something like that was coming.[/sp]
I almost laughed at that part, it was like "Just hold on I'll get you in no time!" while just slowly coming around the corner :v:
Noticed this little moment during my second playthrough that I somehow missed on my first. So, it was brought up today by Jessie Cox and I decided to bring it up here; the twins here in Infinite are a lot like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, even down to a one-sided coin flip from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. I thought that was a pretty cool connection, though I can't remember anymore examples from the game. Do you guys have any?
i noticed the guy juggling but i didn't realize it at the time that it was lucete

I did see them, but obviously had no idea at the time. There's a vending machine at the fair dispensing bucking bronco. Costs 375 bucks and I haven't been able to amass any funds more than half of that.
i noticed the guy juggling but i didn't realize it at the time that it was lucete
[sp]They are not there at first but appear only when looking through the binoculars, they then vanish again once you exit from that view.[/sp]
do they explain where vigors come from
Fink Industries probably. I didn't see any mention of how they are actually created though.
Fink Industries probably. I didn't see any mention of how they are actually created though.
They didn't explain plasmids (I mean, sure, sea slugs, but it doesn't explain how it gives powers).
Regarding Vigors: [sp]I think it's sort of implied Vigors are one of the stolen technologies Fink gained from using Tears. Same with examining Big Daddies in order to create Songbird.[/sp]
that audio compression
Only so much you can do with a dual layer DVD. Remember, the PC version is the equivalent of 3 DVD's. 16 gigabytes aint no slouch, even if the textures are higher resolution, that doesn't account for the whole difference.
Let's be honest, a lot of the value in the story early on was likely missed, as most of us really wouldn't have the knowledge to comprehend it early on. That alone is why this game is worth a second playthrough at least; so you may look at the game from an enlightened perspective this go around. Also, [sp]I wish the whole affair of "bring us the girl and wipe away the debt" was left a bit more ambiguous instead of it being explained as the mind attempting to adjust to a new dimension. When I first was playing, I began to assume that the situation was whoever he was in debt to was tired of his shit, and intentionally sent him on a suicide mission to retrieve Elizabeth from Columbia, so that he/they wouldn't have to murder him and cover up evidence, whilst at the same time have an entertaining way of seeing DeWitt die after failing to pay his debts for so long. It would have been nice if they simply never explained it so that we could have a little extra tidbit to debate over.[/sp]
Eh, either you go back there later or it's just atmospheric to suggest that there are people other than you buying plasm-tonics, I mean tonics.
Yeah I'm thinking it's the latter, but I still find it a bit too tempting as a player...
why would you want major plot to be left open ended and inconclusive lmao that's just bad writing.
why would you want major plot to be left open ended and inconclusive lmao that's just bad writing.
Go tell that to Marc Laidlaw about the Gman :v: Anyway, that sound on the Xbox version is horrifying, I don't even know how someone could tolerate that. Blu-Ray masterrace.
yea but gman is a different thing to idk, the whole fucking reason why booker is going to columbia
why would you want major plot to be left open ended and inconclusive lmao that's just bad writing.
Plus, we've all played our fair share of games where some plot elements would just be better off left unexplained... I'm looking at a certain 2012 "RPG" Gears of War clone. [editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
yea but gman is a different thing to idk, the whole fucking reason why booker is going to columbia
The Gman was idk, the whole fucking reason the resonance cascade happened, as well as Freeman arriving in City 17.
http://www.cinemablend.com/games/BioShock-4-Already-Being-Planned-46564.html this sounds like bullshit to me I especially doubt Columbia being used again since the ending. As nice as it'd be. Rapture has been fucked up in BS2, so I don't know about that either.
I really feel like doing a playthrough of Bioshock 1 and 2 again now.
I know people hate BS2 but I really loved the game. I give all of the Bioshock games a solid 10/10
that audio compression
I wonder how many people actually still believe XB360 = superior to pc in hardware
Go tell that to Marc Laidlaw about the Gman :v: Anyway, that sound on the Xbox version is horrifying, I don't even know how someone could tolerate that. Blu-Ray masterrace.
G-Man is an ongoing overarching plotline though, so it's acceptable for them to leave it hanging until they are ready/figure out how to conclude it. Bioshock Infinite's story isn't overarching or designed to be a sequel hook, it's self-contained and it has to be explained.
Letuce/s need an entire DLC
best characters I really hope we see more of them in future DLCs
I wonder how many people actually still believe XB360 = superior to pc in hardware
Easy. Just find all the fucktarded idiots who say "Herp de durp, live is bettir becuz yuo have to pay for it." and others who fell into Buyer's Denial instead of Buyer's Remorse.
