I don't like the update that much, since I am now literally made of paper. I boosted my shields for a reason and I almost wiped the first time I faced any enemy because I didn't check my shields. I could barely kill bosses to begin with and my upgraded shotpistol is now pretty much useless. There was nothing wrong with the last system :/
I guess my problem with it so far is that they didn't leave you any mods at all, so now you have an inventory full of fusion cores and you can't really do anything past Venus effectively, since everything is now paper. And I still need to get Saryn blueprints >:

I left my team behind and ran past all the enemies, and I was somehow the one who didn't die all the time.
I don't want to be forced into a running playstyle, I want to be a tanky ninja that smashes the shit out of things with my Gram.
Can't make heads or tails of how the new system is supposed to work. How can I bring back my max level full shields excab? Someone mind explaining it to me?
Fusion prices are bugged FYI Basically, select the mod you want to upgrade, press fusion and fuse it with fusion cores or other mods, when the bar on the left increases, the mod elvels up, you can preview the result. The number to the right is the level requirement.
Oh hey, this game looks cool. I think I'm gonna start playing this game.
AAAH THE GAME WAS UPDATED i excite
That price.
This update is gonna take some getting used to. On the bright side, the Fang and Paris are manufactured using the materials everyone has too much of.
Same with the viper!
-snop-
I'm actually happy that I'm now weak as shit again, before the update I wasn't having much fun because I felt completely impervious.
Huh, I just got a Hornet Strike, +20% pistol damage, with 10 fusion levels. Each fusion level increases damage by 20%, with 4 levels, it goes to 100%. Leveling up to 5 reverts it back to +20%. Wat. EDIT: Fusing card is confusing. Whatever you do, never use high rarity cores to level up your cards. [thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7422512/Warframe/1.png[/thumb] Image above shows me trying to use 1x Fusion Core (Rare 7) to upgrade my Hornet Strike. As you can see, it doesn't even level up my card, but it'll cost me 25,600 credits to apply it. [thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7422512/Warframe/2.png[/thumb] Image above shows me using 3x Fusion Core (Uncommon 1) to upgrade my Hornet Strike. It fills up much more than 1x Fusion Core(Rare 7), and costs 600 credits. But wait, there's more. [thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7422512/Warframe/3.png[/thumb] I switched one of the Fusion Cores from 2nd image. The switched Fusion Core is still Uncommon 1. This time however, my card levels up, with the same cost of 600 credits.
Using the rare and higher number uncommon fusion mods only seems to increase the price by a lot without actually doing much for the mod.
also the Gram now glows whatever color you set your energy to be
no wait it doesn't i'm silly
Screw it, I'm going to buy the new warframes. I'll let you know how they work.
Literally just started playing, chose the Excalibur warframe. Just so I know what to work towards, which other frames are fun, and which (if any) are garbage?
Frames may still have the same abilities, but this new update totally changes the way they can be kitted out. Kind of hard to tell you, really. They are the equivalent of classes in the other game so it depends on your playstyle. It takes forever to get a new warframe anyway. For right now just focus on unlocking planets and gathering mods.
Bit of an odd question, but what's up with the chat system? I hit "T", but all that happens is that my cursor appears.
Tried doing the ground attack and fell through the floor. Endless falling from the top of the skybox to the bottom, and when reaching the bottom teleporting back to the top. Eventually I just died and it didn't let me respawn.
The bow is awesome.
Does this mean we can now reset our accounts? I'd really like to start fresh
Does this mean we can now reset our accounts? I'd really like to start fresh
I believe they said one would be coming, but they are still preparing hotfixes and minor additions. It could be a few days. Been playing Banshee. Her sonic boom ability that knocks enemies back and down onto the ground make for great times to use the new ground attack, but the animation is too long to be effective against large groups.
is the bow useful? how powerful is it? what is the refire rate?
I love it. Counts as a sniper weapon, pretty powerful. It's got an okay fire rate, you can by no means spam. Arrows arc with range. If you just press to shoot, the arrow doesn't go as far and the damage is low. If you do a 'charge' attack, more damage and it gets real distance. It's my main weapon for now and possibly forever.
shiiiet mon, first mod is a +15% fire damage mod for shotgun, leveled it up once and it's now +30%
Defense mission I was just on: Welcome to Wave 18 where the enemies are Level 48+ and are fueled by the tears of your frustration. Where in the beginning my electrical boltor was ripping through the Corpus by Wave 18 I felt like I was giving out tattoos I had to stick so many needles in them. So be warned. Also: Wave 15 item reward -- a cipher.
