I just subscribe to the alert notifications or use the alert app for my phone, ignore the ones I don't want and do the ones I do want. Saves me a lot of time.
I used the steam group but either none posts on it anymore or i didn't notice any pop up because my days are now spent for the most part at the university..
Just found out about the addition of pets like PSO2 Mags :D
This game is so much fun, but I can almost never find people to play with. Then again I'm only on the starting planets, but still. At least sites give out keys like it's Christmas.

Add Noctua, I'm on from time to time and I love to just jump in and play with people but everyone in my friendlist is offline all the time!
Design council has gotten a first look at the outside environment. It looks alright, from the two screenshots we've seen.
Seems to be a base in the middle of a crevice of ice or something.
Does anybody else consider Infestation to be a dumb group of enemies? They aren't tough or anything, just kind of annoying.

Mind if I add you as well? Got the same problem

Has a release date been given out yet?
Has a release date been given out yet?
Nope, its still the mid-late march schedule given to us originally.
STILL WAITING FOR FACEPUNCH CLAN
Due to popular demand we're extending the deadline on the Founders Program!
...well, it's partially based on demand but mainly because we have been so focused on polishing Update 7 that we haven't been able to devote the attention necessary to truly nail down an incredible follow up offer to the Founders program.
Essentially our thinking is -- If we wouldn't buy what we're selling then it certainly isn't good enough to ask other people to buy it. So while we continue to perfect the next 'big' offer which we hope to finalize by the end of the month, we're extending the Founders program to give everyone who's interested a little longer to get in, including our Steam users who will be joining Warframe on March 25th.
To our newly minted Founders who rushed their entry thinking this was the end, we apologize for stressing you out and hope you're not eating saltines and margarine for the rest of the month just so you could become a Founder in time. We do truly appreciate your support.
For those who were still hoping to get in? Now's your chance!
As for Update 7...it's sooooo close, we can taste it!
Founders has been extended, and it sounds like a new offer is on the horizon with Update 7.
Also coming on steam on march 25
Release date for update 7 has gone from a general time frame of march to "Within days, not weeks". Sounds awesome!
Time to ramp up my alloy and rubedo farming schedule!
Design council just got an in-depth look at the upcoming replacement for mods and upgrade trees. Looks extremely complicated when written out, but I think it could really increase player customization.
Mods will not be exchangeable to the new system, but they will still be usable in upgrading the new 'artifact' mods. They will also still drop on occasion from enemies, so don't feel rushed to get more.
With that information, I suggest going through your inventory the best you can and selling some of your more duplicated mods as well as the ones you really see no value with (white and some green mods, or mods you never use like puncture or multi-shot). They will be reducing the amount of credits you can get by selling mods drastically some time after Update 7, so best to take advantage of it now.
why would you not use multishot
it's the best mod ever
Did they nerf Loki's disarm? Because it's not actually disarming anything.
disarm became useless when they removed the ability to disarm bosses
why disarm a few enemies when you can kill a bunch of enemies with the same amount of energy (Mag, Volt, Nyx, Frost, Ash etc.)

I think its a glitch.
I know for a fact Mag's ultimate had a range bug that made it very powerful, that they are going to have fixed in the Update 7. They might be holding off on releasing Loki's fix in a similar fashion.

So what's the deal? What exactly is happening with mods coming Update 7?
Also, picture of the Sonic warframe yet?

Basically, the old mods are being shelved from actually interacting with warframes. The whole skill tree deal is being gotten rid of as well, and it is being replaced by 10 slots for warframes, 8 for weapons.
These slots have certain different 'polarities' or affinities for the new artifact mods that you can put in, so some will be attack slots, others will be for powers, or defense, etc. The new mods, which will be an all encompassing system of warframe powers, current mod upgrades and some other things, can be put into these 10 slots with any combination.
Each mod has a certain amount of energy drain though, and that is what limits you from putting in all uber powerful mods, as each warframe has 30 energy available (60 if you supercharge). You can smash your old mods together with the new mods in a process called fusion to make them better, but this increases energy drain. If you match your mod with the slot polarity, the energy drain is lessened; if you mismatch, the energy drain increases.
This allows for greater customization and unique builds. Say you have Ember and you really like one of her abilities. Instead of having to all four ability cards (ie new mods) take up slots, you can just use that one ability card and use the rest of your slots to beef it up.
Weapons act in a similar fashion.
They have expressed interest and plan to incorporate general powers so that you aren't always limited to your warframe's current four abilities. I want a utility excalibur or a healer frost, this can let you do that. Powers that are unique to warframes stay unique, so you can't mix and match them.
Sonic warframe has been revealed to the design council, space bow and all. [sp]It's a female, and it is in fact named Banshee![/sp]
There is a familiar energy growing in me, a feeling I can say I haven't felt in a long time for some games. I think I am getting hyped for this update.
[editline]hoop[/editline]
Also 10 frame slots!? Now it feels like I've wasted the platinum I got from the start.
I think i'm just going to sell all of my mods so I have a stupid amount of money and never have to worry about it again. I don't mind working for those new upgrade things since it'll give me something to do.
