l4d2 beta alarm sounded like shit
Also too hard to see.
beta tf2 looked MUCH better also
The beta TF2 had a great lighting but weird ass animations, sounds, textures and models. It didn't even have the TF2 feel, it used HL2 blood I like the L4D beta survivors, I'd like to see them with better models and textures.
l4d2 beta alarm sounded like shit
Was the alarm sound from Ep2 and I liked it more because it was loud and annoying, most alarms you find in the real world are loud and annoying.
I like the L4D beta survivors, I'd like to see them with better models and textures.
Being worked on using the new survivor heads and higher poly models. The whole project looks rather promising.
For the last time, Path of the Borealis was NOT in the beta. It's a fan made remix, god damn it.
The betas did have a darker tone but they had less playability and would be frustrating to newer gamers.
you have to admit that the beta viewmodels of L4D2 were better Nick didn't have disco pants for a left sleeve for example
I have to agree with the Left 4 Dead 1 beta. Shit looks so cash.
Some features at L4D1 beta was nice. The survivors looked just too ugly tho.
Some features at L4D1 beta was nice. The survivors looked just too ugly tho.
Bill and Louis looked badass :colbert:
Oh god, does Francis have a Beard in the second video?
Bill and Louis looked badass :colbert:
Bill looked the same
Bill looked the same
He has an army vest and looked more gruff, however I still prefer the current Bill.
I would pay 40€ for L4D Beta, since I'm huge L4D fan.
I would pay 40€ for L4D Beta, since I'm huge L4D fan.
Maybe not 40, maybe like 10 for me. Either way, no one can argue that the L4D2 beta is pretty much superior to its released version. Sure, the animations were reused, but at least they weren't shit.
-snip-
Not this shit again. They removed them for a reason.
I know what you mean, for example I preferred the call of duty 4 beta to final game, but that is my opinion- personally I had nothing against the final cut, I just liked the other one a little more.
The probable reasons, why you think beta is better, is maybe because you know there will be updates. Up until the point where the game just becomes the same thing. Again. And Again. And Again.
Man, I remember watching the L4D2 beta. It was hardly even a beta, at least not like HL2. No dramatic story changes, only fewer features and different skins. [editline]03:09PM[/editline]
you have to admit that the beta viewmodels of L4D2 were better Nick didn't have disco pants for a left sleeve for example
This. His sleeve actually hung down and acted like a real sleeve would do.
The only thing i can agree with is the M4 sound from L4D.
The L4D beta had some cool weapon animations. They should have kept them for the full game.
I loved L4d2beta because it had viewmodels using L4D1's animations also pants
The only thing the L4D beta had going for it was the cool weapon animations, but those weren't really practical for gameplay. Did you see how God damn long it took him to reload his pistol? It really hurt him when he was incapacitated. True-to-life realistic weapon animations really don't have a place in a fast-paced game like Left 4 Dead.
The L4D beta had some cool weapon animations. They should have kept them for the full game.
Eh, I like the current ones. They may be less fluid, but they feel better. I honestly wish they went with the whole chambering a round thing the first one's beta had, on all of the weapons. I don't know why they removed it on shotguns, and put it on the pistols only.
Some features at L4D1 beta was nice. The survivors looked just too ugly tho.
They looked more like a person would, in a real zombie apocalypse. I mean, Louis doesn't have blood on his shirt but he kills thousands of zombies everyday. They have beards too, which also makes sense. And since L4D appeals to the realistic side, somehow, it would be fitting.
It was 3 weeks after the first infection Not 3 months.
It was 3 weeks after the first infection Not 3 months.
Imagine 21 days of constant war. The thing is, you're not prepared for it, you're outnumbered and all enemies use melee. Your clothes would be dirty within the first day.
Only thing I like about the L4D beta is the old 1911, better sounding etc.
The hydra was not removed because they could not make it work right, it was too hard to tell when it was going to attack.
Eh, I like the current ones. They may be less fluid, but they feel better.
