Well Raiden did go [sp]through the best training on the world, wasn't the Big Shell incident meant to be a copy of shadow moses?[/sp]

You mean Big Shell.
Struggling to make sometime to edit new rough trailer. The music is too long, tempo of the music is awkward, and the game image is too short.
He said the trailer he did for MGR was the last trailer for MGR.
So...i guess that means he's making a trailer for MGS5/Ground Zeroes.

Well he should be...it's not too much to expect something to be shown at E3, right? Or maybe he will blow us away and show like a 15-30min gameplay demo. Who knows.
Also, I miss the old thread for no real reason
Does anyone else prefer Raiden's MGS4 look more then his MGRR outfit? I like it more because of the symboligy of how he's become a monster because of the Patriots.

And why would he still be like that in MGR when he's not a monster anymore?
Atleast, until later i suppose, but he's driven over the edge by Desperado, isnt he?

I mean like a science experiment gone wrong. I don't really know but his old visor with the six eyes just scream monster to me.

Eh, the visor could've been better.
Like covering his whole head.
Like the other two.
Gray Fox is the best.

I didnt like that Glass fish bowl he had on his head.

I like that look more as well. Also, that exact skin is available for download for the PS3 and XBox. It was like $1.99 on the Playstation store.
The Gray Fox suit is the best suit in MGR, no contest.
The Gray Fox suit is the best suit in MGR, no contest.
Raiden =/= Gray Fox. I feel like a lie wearing that suit. Also, Mexican Raiden is pretty amazing.
Honestly, though, the Desperado suit looks sweet when used with the Murasama
I love the suit skin.
The Gray Fox suit is the best suit in MGR, no contest.
I honestly can't play MGRR without wearing the Gray Fox suit now.
Just now realized you can equip unique weapons in VR missions
fuck everything
The wooden sword is hilarious against human enemies. Blade mode, whack, gone.
Also, Sam can fuck off with his bullshit barely telegraphed attacks. Revengeance difficulty is so fucking hard because of it.
Mexican Raiden is best Raiden, Amigo.
Its a shame they didnt have any parts where you and Wolf fight together. That was disappointing, he's a good guy... robot wolf dog is Wolf.
Got MGR today, but I have to wait 2 weeks to go back home to play it. Let's hope it lives up to the expectation.
Fuck Mastiffs.
Whoever thought that it would be a great idea to make an enemy that almost exclusively uses grapples is a goddamn idiot.
They're not that big of a problem on easier difficulties, but they're fucking everywhere on Very Hard.
Plus when there's more than one of them, you're basically fucked, they'll just stunlock you immediately.
VR Mission 7 on MGR is the fucking worst
VR Mission 7 on MGR is the fucking worst
Wait until 18 and 19, I gave up on VR after those, did everything else just fine.
Oh no wait, the ones where you have to not be detected and get to the end, they're bullshit and have invisible platforms to get gold.
so i finished playing mgs3
am i the only one who thinks that mgs1/2 were better? the stealth was so botched in mgs3, it felt like the game encouraged you to knock people out instead of sneaking. the environments were so big, and line of sight was so much harder to figure out

I see where you're coming from.
MGS3 was when they overhauled the stealth system, some thought it was better, some didn't. Though it did have its problems, i personally enjoyed it so much more than others, not just gameplay but the feel of the game in general.
Being a bit of a homage to James Bond and the like was nice enough, but getting to finally see the legendary Big Boss before, and realizing he was just a fairly dorky soldier, before being molded into what he was in the later years. It just had a bit more of an impact on me than Snake or Raidens stories.
Been playing MGS3
this game is FUCKING AWESOME, even though it went from "you're doing serious missions" to "wtf clouds of hornets/totally unexplained lightning powers" aka "full crazy" in a single cutscene

Yeah it really feels like he's just another soldier and 90% of the new technology and techniques are really new to him
"hi snake let me tell you everything about that thing you caught"
"yyyeeeah whatever IS IT TASTY?"

Use the dodge move, a lot.
Replaying Metal Gear Solid 2 and just got to arsenal gear. I can literally just walk around that place listening to the god-tier haunting soundtrack.
