Still looks like some sorta scab.
Or a hallucination.
Looks to me like a piece of metal lodged in his face.
I couldn't have been the only one :v:

Knowing Kojima's affinity to base his character's looks after actors, I wouldn't be surprised if he did base it off Doc Brown.
Why is everyone so messed up about Hayter not being Big Boss? Hayter is Solid Snake, he only voiced Big Boss in one of his four appearances. I think for sure that Richard Doyle should be Big Boss.
What? David voiced Big Boss in MGS3, Portable Ops, and Peace Walker.
Basically everything except MGS4 and the voiceless MSX games.
David is just as much Big Boss as he is Solid Snake, especially considering Snake is a clone of him.
Must i repeat myself?
Of course, that whole point is moot because of 4 big reasons:
1. All the characters seem to be placeholders in those gameplay trailers and the main trailer, they sound like the same guy.
2. The prologue is set right after Peace Walker, and sure, 9 years, but it would still be very jarring.
3. Quinton Flynn, Raidens VA, wasnt even contacted to do voice work until maybe September of last year for MGR:R.
4. Akio Otsuka, Solid Snakes VA and young Big Bosses VA, has been confirmed already to be voicing him in MGS5 in the japanese version, so it wouldnt make much sense.
[editline]27th March 2013[/editline]
Especially 4 since Akio Otsuka did a couple of lines for MGR:R (Snakes Soul Wooden Sword, Solidus trailers) So its obvious they had him on standby for a reason.
Along with the original GZ trailer.
Dammit, now Snake reminds me of Liam Neeson :v:

SNAKE! We have to go back to 1998!

I totally fucking forgot portable ops and peace walker. I understand why I forgot Portable ops, but why did I forget Peace Walker?

So I think MGSV is gonna go: Ground Zeroes, saving chico and paz. Snake comes back to Mother base, gets wounded, goes into coma for 9 years, and then phantom pain happens.

What is this?
I don't recall Big Boss turning into a unicorn.
Maybe Big Boss is fighting his inner demons or some shit, he seems to be tripping balls as we've already seen. I noticed the figure in the fire looks like what would happen to Big Boss if he made every evil choice in Fable, complete with two horns.

It would be silly for Hayter to not be the lead role. His voice is an icon for MGS.

Did David Hayter voice Snake during the Ground Zero trailer?
Did David Hayter voice Snake during the Ground Zero trailer?
There was no english version.
But his normal (Read: MGS3, PO, and PW) Japanese VA did.
AKA theres no reason to cry about Hayter's "boot" since he's going to be brought back once localization is done.
I just realised, Hayter said he hasn't been asked to do MGSV. Maybe he wasn't aware of the game as a whole and was only asked to do the voice in Ground Zeroes. Otherwise, he would have mentioned not being the voice when GZ was announced right?

You realize the GZ trailer never had an english version, dont you?

Yeah, but the Japanese VA for Solid Snake/Big Boss was used, so it makes sense they'd get Hayter to do the GZ voice too.

Yes...
And?
Thats my argument as to why Hayter isnt being booted off MGS5.
He's been trending since the trailer dropped, Kojima should really just address the damn issue so we can all move on.
When is the interview with Geoff supposed to be available? I'm curious as to what was answered.
Eh fuck it, why not? I'll post it here too, make you guys happy.

As it is mine, but just for the GZ portion.
Kojima confirmed no Hayter for MGS5.
