The more Battlefield games you have 'tied' to your EA account, the higher your veterancy.
Does anyone know what your veteran level has to be to get the garand?
Just one I think, During the beta, I found the Thompson and the Colt.. especially the Colt, were two of the best weapons to use... Maybe the Garand will surprise me and be decent as well

But BC2 counts towards the veteran rank, so isn't that kinda flawed?
I don't think BC2 just by itself counts as a veteran rank, You have to have two Battlefield games to your account to be a rank 1
Battlefield Heroes is free and counts towards it if you don't have any other BF game to use, so BC2 and Heroes will make you the Veteran Rank 1

No, English is my only language. You really aren't getting it are you? Something can SEEM to be something that it is not, if you say that something SEEMS to be something, then that means that you do not know for sure. In this case, we know that February is 28 days long this year. You would not say that it seems to be 28 days long, you would say that it IS 28 days long. You wouldn't say "This branch seems to be wood" would you? No, because it godamn is wood. A woman, on observation could appear to be a fat lesbian whore, but that does not mean that she is. Get it? Ok, good. Now how about we both shut the fuck up because this is stupid and totally unrelated to BC2.

Ah ok, i was going to say...
Also i'd much rather have the m14 than the m1 garand anyways, simply because i can reload any time i want.
I'd prefer the Garand to be honest... Knowing BC2 and it's very unrealistic weapon characteristics you'll probably be able to reload it anytime you want (Technically you could a real one, it was time consuming though) But if not, the G3 is going to be my choice
