If Dice's located in Stockholm, why the hell is it released outside of Europe first?
There's more than one location. They have on in London, one in Ontario, one in Stockholm, and another is at EA's headquarters. Or something like that.
EA is the publisher and they are faggots.
And that. But when have you ever heard of the EU getting a game before NA?
Since the game is released in Europe on March 4th and America in March 2nd? I guess.
Since always. I take it you've never heard of Borderlands.
The reason it's released differently in NA then the EU is because the sales weeks start on different days in the respected regions. In NA it starts on tuesday and in the EU it's friday I believe.
Here is the IGN review: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/107/1072632p1.html It's a really shitty review. They spend half the time talking about Modern Warfare 2.
Oh man I realized last week It's coming out during my spring break This is the fucking bomb.
I just pre ordered it yesterday. Also, about that veteran system. I have Battlefield 1942, Vietnam and 2. How can I tie these to my account?
Nobody can say?
If Dice's located in Stockholm, why the hell is it released outside of Europe first?
Games in Europe generally get released on Thursdays or Fridays, I don't know why, but they usually do.
Since always. I take it you've never heard of Borderlands.
Was never interested.

They spend half the time talking about Modern Warfare 2.
I read the entire thing just now and they mentioned it once at the very very end in a sentence.
This is probably late, but it just occurred to me to ask: is there a level editor?
no
no
God damnit. Oh well. It's for the best.
Wow! The single player was intense! Beated it all in this day, sadly. I only found two hints at mw2 so far: No spoilers, only sayings about mw2. When they were in the chopper Sweet said [sp]And when they were racing on Quadbikes, some one said "If we were on snowmobiles, I would put you down.. But we are not on snowmobiles, they are for sissies[/sp] Thoughts about endgame, spoiler: [sp]When game finished at the moment when Russians started invading US, it felt like MW2 prequel[/sp]
I have just been playing through most of the SP story, and had it streaming. I really did get sick of the dickheads saying that the IGN review is bullshit. For the singleplayer aspect of it I agree. Infact, if the review was based solely off SP, I'd have given it a 7/10. The single player has some of the worst level design I've ever seen in a game, and it also has verry verry large boring bits. MP is a different bag however, but I'm basing that off single player experience over. Now most people in this thread will say, well fuck you DogGunn, this is a multiplayer based game. Well I say fuck you, this game is single player too. It's why a lot of their advertising campaign has been around the single player campaign. It's an important part of the game, but it may not be the most important. Please stop the bullshit of a crappy review. That's 89%. That's a great result. P.S. I lost respect for DICE when they made their twitter post. GordonVanDyke is a douchebag.
If I see a helicopter there I'll take it. I won't wait for one.
P.S. I lost respect for DICE when they made their twitter post. GordonVanDyke is a douchebag.
Wanna link?
P.S. I lost respect for DICE when they made their twitter post. GordonVanDyke is a douchebag.
What does the twitter post say?
Wanna link?
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
well it is true
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
That's a bit unprofessional but he has a point. The problem with the IGN review is that everything they marked the game down for are the exact problems that Modern Warfare 2 has. And they spent over half the review talking about single player issues when this is clearly a multiplayer game, which they had no complaints about. I'm not saying they shouldn't dock points for the single player issues, but if Modern Warfare 2 can get a 9.5 even with it's 6 hour long campaign (which had the exact pacing issues they complained about in this review, no downtime) and laughably bad story, this game should be able to as well.
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
Uh, but it's completely true. The IGN review was basically "it was cool, but MW2 is better".
Reinstalling BF2 to help me wait for this. :)
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
it's true. I felt like he was only going to mention the SP since it IS Battlefield we're talking about. Yet it felt like he was talking about SP 70-80% of the review and just shortly mentioned MP. [editline]08:20PM[/editline] after the review he probably went back to playing MW2
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
Touchless and unprofessional, but true.
http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2PC/status/9734908048
Oh well i don't give a pure shit. I just went and preordered the game and i'm going to get the AK74SU or whatever it's name, and all the limited edition stash. And i'm gonna enjoy the game.
who gives a shit about professionalism in the video game industry
They don't nail the big cinematic feel? The multiplayer feels a lot better than MW2's MP, it actually feels like a huge battle unlike 18 soldiers running around in a tiny map.
