Sadly, no. I didn't have any money at all and by the time I had enough it was too late.
you don't need money to get a beta key..

Got it for 360 seeing how I would end up forcing the pc version to dx11, because I crave the absolute maximum, and the beta only ran at like 19 fps maxed out with dx11. I can't play a game like Battlefield at ~20 fps.
I'm sure the console version is probably locked at 30 or so, but I definitely know I'll have more friends playing on 360.
I bought and at some point played every battlefield game, what should I do to prepare for veteran registration
I got the game early and it runs pretty poorly on my dual-core. Will Dice be releasing their optimization patch on release day?

Well if they have it ready, why not?

Well the beta optimization patch hasn't been released to the retail release yet from what I've heard, also seems like they had more optimizations that they mentioned would be in the full game so I'm guessing a day one optimization patch will help a little bit, but quad is really recommended for this game so the fact that it doesn't run smooth as butter on a dual-core which is minimum req makes sense.
Why is sp so short. It was just getting good, and BAM, the end.

i don't know, but battlefield series has never been known for single player.

You mean like a cliff hanger? I hope not...

Go here:

Start entering your CD Keys
It's been said this system is going to change once BC2 is released but They wouldn't take veteran status AWAY from someone who already had it, I wouldn't think
How many points do you actually need to get the garand, I have bf2 full pack, 2142, 1943 and bc2, so yeah.
Do I have to go there and enter my keys? Or is playing BF2 and 1943 on my EA account enough.
This is one of the few games that really wen't fucking awesome on the Sequel.
You have to register for the veteran program, which is entering your CD keys to your account... you have to login before you can enter any keys anyway, and you only need veteran rank 1 to get the Garand, Just make sure it's the same account you'll be playing BC2 with

You select the game on the upper right, and a new Box appears to enter your CD Key... BC2 doesn't have it yet since it's not released obviously, But even BF Heroes will count towards your veteran status so if you don't have any other BF Game, use it, it's free... and I'm pretty sure it takes two games to make you a Rank 1... so Heroes + Bad Company 2 = Good to go
In cause you don't have spotify or something or whatever DICE posted the soundtrack online as well.

I have 2 points already, I'm good.

How do I add my veteran for Battlefield 1943 on the xbox then? It's a arcade bought game so has no CD key, clicking on the name in the menu yields no additional boxes to input information..
I already have rank 3 but might aswell add the other if I can.
You can't until they redo it.

It never asked me to enter a CD-Key. It just asked me for my BF2 registration.
Also, I never even bought the game. I made an account at my local cyber cafe a couple of years back. One day I was wondering if the account would work.

Ooh, I see sorry. Just read further up. *doh*
Why is it they in BC2 they no longer pull the charging handle during the reload? Did DICE just remove that section from all animations to save space?
I can't save I've ever fired a gun to empty so I couldn't tell you. I usually reload before I hit 0.
Yeah, BC2 and 1943, probably a couple others are being redone... Basically you just have to play an online match with them, and then enter your gamertag to register the game.. I just realized I have Modern Combat on the 360 but have never played it... I can register that for Veteran status once I play a game there I suppose... That would make me a rank 7 after BC2 releases... Fuckin' hell

Alritey.
What about the expansions for BF2 seeming they were all made free anyways?
As I only ever bought Special forces and thus only special forces is lit up behind BF2 but technically now I own the other 2.
You can register the expansions separately for BF2, It'll just want your Login and password you used to play them, no Key.... I don't know if an expansion gives you a rank or not though, Probably need to register 2 of them for a +1 in Rank
I hope they remake Vietnam next, I was playing it the other day and thought it would be awesome if it were more modernized. Game made me confused though, it doesn't support even 1280x1024, which makes it look bad on my 1920x1080 monitor. I found it weird because fucking Deus Ex supports 1920x1080, which blew my mind in all rights.
