I'm on a Phenom 955 x4 3.2ghz Quad core, with 4 gigs of Ram, and an HD 5750 w/1gig DDR5 (Although I love how windows 7 dedicates memory to Video memory so DXDiag and the like show my video card having 2.7gigs) And with everything maxed out, 2X AA, 1680X1050, and HBAO turned OFF, During an entire online match, I averaged 66.9 Frames per second, The highest I hit was 98, and the lowest I hit was the upper 30's, And that was before the optimization patch and in a server of 32 people, and No I do not use VSync.... Performance wise, with HBAO turned on, there was almost no difference, but Mouse sensitivity felt VERY inconsistent, You'd turn so fast one second then slower the next So I'm sure once they release the game, and that patch, a system with lower specs will achieve what I was able to, and even lower specs will be able to play just fine (Also, I used FRAPS to Benchmark the framerates)

Is there any preload for Steam?

Not Yet... Dice waited until the last second to find out OHSHI- We can't preload without breaking, Hurry hurry hurry and fix it! I bet there won't be a pre-load :( an Hour headstart on downloading before it's released doesn't count as a pre-load to me, either

I think it's stupid that Steam won't allow us to play the game until 6 o clock tomorrow. I'll be able to play for 2 hours before I have to stick my head in the books for homework.

Somehow EA thought I pre ordered with them, they are partly right but almost till the end I cancelled it because I wasn't certain if I really wanted the game. After a week I bought the game from steam cause that's an easier payment method for me. So what does this mean?
