Release patch is around 300 mb but the ea servers don't give me more than 100kb/s and crapped out twice now so I had to retry from the beginning.

does the patch includes the map pack, or is this some other patch?

Ingame now. The multiplayer maps are AWESOME.

They disable your ability to play mutliplayer on that engine. When an account is disabled, it can be for any of these reasons listed here. So.. he will be perfectly fine playing BC2 with that account.

We _should_ be able to start downloading in an hour, if Steam releases on time that is. Never again will I buy a pre-release from Steam, unless it's a Valve game, somehow those always seem to pre-load/release without a hitch.

Did anyone play the 360 demo and then PC beta? performance aside how would you compare them?

The game can get a bit hectic due to all the smoke.

Ok, I must be blind but when I go to the server browser, I see nowhere to input IP addresses to favorite or add servers, How does one do this in BC2?
