Can somebody get me a beta key?
Yes, because literally EVERY time I get in the apache a UAV rams me.
And even if I can get to the point where I can land it to get it repaired it just shoots it's rocket at me and blows me up before anyone can repair it.
UAV needs some nerfing really.
All the times I have ever flown the Apache (Quite a bit) that has never happened to me. You must have some really shitty luck.
Yes, Noken works at DICE and does all the promo videos.
So that explains why he basically vanished.
BFBC2 is the best.

Explosions
Destruction
sad there is no prone in BC2.... is there a reason why it's not in the game?
The easiest way to overcome the UAV ramming is to just send some rounds at the terminal. It respawns way less often than the Apache anyways, so it should be easy to keep ontop of it.

Come on, don't complain about the rockets, those are completely legit! The cooldown for it is quite long!

Dice said it was not realistic. They asked former soldiers if they go prone. The soldiers answered no, only soldiers that go prone are ones who spend a week on a hill.

I can understand that.
Stops dolphin diving *glares at old BF games and MW2*
yeah I really hate that.
In ArmA 2, I only go prone If I'm under fire and there is no other concealment/cover near me...So grass is the only option.
just got the 12x scope, it rox
How can he control what you buy?? Walk to the store, buy stuff, go home.
If i did that my dad would just get angry and give it right back to the store.
He can't stop me from buying things, But it's not like i can hide the game forever.
Gunner gets tracer darts I think.
Well that sure sounds useful.

Why the hell does he even do that? This makes no sense.

So like, he pretends to give you money, but it is still his. Pretty much your dad is a prick. You know you can open the game, and they won't take it back? Maybe burn the manual or something.

How old are you?

Are all the servers down now? I've only been able to connect to one empty one.
Argh, OK, I'm torn. I know I'm buying BC2, but I can't decide if I should get the PC or Xbox versions.
I have an above-average machine, so performance shouldn't be an issue, and I much, much prefer mouse aiming over a controller. Plus, increased player limit, and better-looking menus. (In my opinion.)
But the console version has one massive upside: not having to put up with EA's absolutely piece-of-shit motherfucking-terrible account system, that has literally eaten all my CD Keys for past Battlefield games. I can't register my 1942 or 2 games on the Veteran thing, for example, because it tells me that the "Key has already been redeemed."
So. Which do I use, and does anyone have tips for making EA's account system slightly less unbearable than it is?
[editline]07:57PM[/editline]
Oh, and don't even get me started on 2142. I still have the unused game lying around since EA's ridiculous system caused the key to be given to another account. Don't ask me how that happened.

maybe, since the beta ends soon. i mean, very soon.
I'm not exactly sure where I read this but are they still trying to make it optimized? I can run the beta fine on medium but with random lag spikes. I think they said it in a tweet or something.

Probably read it in every other post in this thread.
How old are you?
I'm 14, First, I obvioulsy can't drive, one problem since the closest store is 9 miles away. And second, the clerks are just gunna be like "Okay little boy go and get your daddy or your mommy because you're not old enough to play this."
Probably read it in every other post in this thread.
I barely read any of the BFBC2 threads. I just got the beta Tuesday after WhatnowV2 sent me some beta keys he found in the last thread.
Pretty much your dad is a prick.
Yeah, pretty much. He also doesn't let me play console games on weekdays because in fifth grade i had slightly below average grades. At least i still got my computer.
[editline]09:34PM[/editline]
I've learned to live with it. Oh well.

You still use EA's account system for all consoles I believe.
OK, so I finally got a beta key, and I create a new account and all that, but when I try to log in, it goes to the "Updating your stats" message, it freezes for a few seconds, then crashes to the desktop. God damn it I want to play this game :saddowns:
[editline]GOD FUCKING DAMN IT[/editline]
Looks like there's no fix, I guess I just spent an hour and a half downloading a game that I can't play.
it shuts down at 6am tomorrow, so fix it fast haha.

Pretty sure you still have to use your EA accounts on the consoles too.
[editline]10:45PM[/editline]
Either way I got mine on steam so I don't have to worry about keys. Just get it on there since the PC one will be better.
With the veteran site my keys were already claimed as well, All I had to do was email customer support, they asked for a few details, and then put the games on my veteran account.

It's perfect the way that it is. The Apache is way more maneuverable than the UAV and in the Apache all you have to do is shoot the driver of the UAV and it's gone. The UAV gives attackers a chance to take down the heli's, it's bad you have to have a vehicle to take them down unless you're really really lucky with a tracer and rocket.
