Holy shit, a night map, freaking awesome. Night goggles anyone? Also, day 1 map pack. I bet they'll charge something on the consoles, but what about the PC? Any infos on that?

The DLC maps look amazing.. but it still feels like they rip us off a bit. I know we get it for free. But.. why did they make it DLC. If it's already done and ready to go. Then it's just ripped content from the game that they charge you for. Forcing us to buy stuff that was made before the release. True DLC is made AFTER the games release. As EXTRA content, not stuff that is already done. Atleast DICE has promised some free stuff too and I WILL buy the DLC maps. I mean, one map in BC2, Port Valdez for example, has provided me with endless amounts of fun. Same with Arica Harbor. I can still play those maps even though I played them like mad. They make the DLC when they're doing all the bugtesting for the day 1 patch. What, do you want the game to come out two months later? Or do you want them to just do nothing until the game has been shipped? Day one DLC is great as long as it's free. I don't see why people complain of this. Also it means PC players get the stuff for free.

Everyone gets the DLC free Except those who buy used copies.

Yeah. I just hope to god it's well optimized on the retail version because with all of that I'm def. going for PC

I preordered it for PC, but recently downloaded the 360 Demo to just pass the time. I was on attack and pushing forward when the other team got their Apache airborne. It was raining hell on us. I spawned in as an engineer and hopped over the guardrail off the road, the Apache was hovering and blasting the shit out of everyone. A tank must have hit it, because it started going into that 'death spiral', however doing it right towards me. I fire off my RPG at it and strike it broadside. The thing explodes and I turn around, making a run for it while clenching my teeth going "Shiiiiiiiiiiiit!" I hop over the guardrail again to safety. Glancing back to all the wreckage, blown apart trees and basically a scene of death where I had been standing. At that point. I declared this game awesome.

These are called battlefield moments. They are even better now that there are destructible environments, but they are mostly there because of the variety of the vehicles and the classic "I can run into a house and my chopper's fine". Just like that time on Arica harbor (PS3 beta) where my teammate was hiding in a house and someone in jeep came so I blew it up with my RPG but then the wreck blew up the wall and crushed him.
