I was hoping for a new character in the next Deus Ex game. It seems like this is going to be a direct sequel to Human Revolution.

I personally don't mind; as long as they improve on Jensen's character a bit, I'll be fine.

I could go for a sequel to HR, they really did a good job with it and did justice to the original. Hopefully this doesn't end up being some console exclusive or something.

Eidos may be overstepping their mark here by 'announcing' a new [i]Deus Ex[/i]. 'Leaking' [i]Half-Life 4[/i]? Kind of cute and jokey. 'Announcing' a sequel to a game that many expected would eventually have a sequel, then going "PSYCH"? Kind of a douchey move.

This better not be an April Fools Day prank, Deus Ex: HR was absolutely fantastic.

I for one could never actually beat the original Deus Ex despite loving it completely because after a few levels it went into ludicrous speed.
