When is the last time a game about building with blocks made you jump? The last time you played Minecraft. Indev, specifically.
When is the last time a game about building with blocks made you jump? The last time you played Minecraft. Indev, specifically.
It's true... :ohdear: This is probably the only game in which I am genuinely afraid to be in the dark.
I always start /Indev/ by cutting down 2 trees and finding at least one flint+steel. Then I go and start on my 3x3 mine shaft which usually tunnels down into a cavern or I end up finding a cavern and other veins of material regardless. Then I live in the mine for a while and after I collect a ton of stone, I go back to the surface and establish my fortress, which grows over time as I collect more stone. On another note, the only Minecraft I've played in the last month has been nothing but Indev.
We're doing this bro where making this happen (points to those who get the reference) I have decided to start a small flat indev map on hard. Nothing special about that, right? Well, I plan on doing it with ONLY WOOD. That's right, no bows, arrows, extra torches, ores, food, crops, nothing. JUST WOOD. All other elements will be instantly tossed over the side of my awesomehouse. I expect to survive 1.5 days at the most. [editline]07:34PM[/editline] i forgot to seal the door and died on the first night :saddowns:
:v: Made it with another guy on my server.
his arms are too high
He looks a little skinny
Gonna code my own custom server in C# :D
Good luck, I presume you know what your doing.
The plan for the rest of the week

Finish armor
Add experimental third person view mode
Split out crafting into several work stations

The workbench will make tools and other work stations
Armory for making weapons and armor
Forge for smelting and melting
Kitchen for making food

Fix the purple outline bug as much as possible The current plan is to make the terrain texture atlas twice as large, and add padding around each subtexture. It’s a huge waste of texture space, but it should get rid of almost all purple outlines except for very low view angles. (Or people could just stop turning on forced anisotropic filtering. ;))
Not multiplayer. At all. Honest.

I can't tell if he's giving us a clue with the last one or what. And with armor, Fuckin' Ace, now maybe I can beat the goddamned spiders on easy.

Seeing as how Venn's server has gone down the shitter, I decided to host an alternative server. http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=8e4fca6b1f46b19faca02720c37a5e5a
Be there or be square! :smug:

Did indeed.
Saccn's server is down.

Indev makes me think of Wurm Online, but more fun.
