Is there any hack for MP that actually lets you change your controls?
The only one I can find is the WoM client but you can't change your controls in that. :saddowns:

I'm interested in this too. I'm left handed, and I can change EVERY control in :wom: except for WASD, which they stupidly superglued in place. I use my laptop's numpad with my right hand, and crossing my hand all the way over to the left side of the laptop really twists my wrist up. :frown:

yeah... at least, in the build I tried, it let me switch everything but movement. The escape-options-controls thing SHOWED I switched movement, but it was still bound to WASD.
why is the server spawn in the lowest level underground?

I actually liked those mountains, though maybe not so massively high?
if anything, it would be cool to use a single player generated map. I like building into nature.

All of Facepunch's emotes are taken straight from Something Awful.
I recently (attempted) started playing Minecraft again for the first time on my new system. The thing is is that it's incredibly laggy, and I never go above 10 fps.. This was after I switched from Windows XP to Windows 7. Is there any way to tweak or optimize something to get better performance?
The servers up and ready and I found a nice map, only problem is that there's a problem with the minecraft servers that don't allow you to connect to the server if the server is in your LAN. I emailed notch about it and I'm waiting on his reply. So, I could post the server now but it won't have a spawn jail.

Yeah.
I've been an asshole since the server began, am I missing something here or did you all pick this time to try and get someone banned.
My server now reloads the default world every 15 minutes.
This means that if the welcome message appears on the screen but not the loading bar, just wait a few minutes and try again.
I love spawn jails , and the fact you can go right through them if you aren't retarded.
