We exist to promote equality in Minecraft.

To smelt, you need to build a furnace. Hint: they’re made out of rock.
Furnaces need something combustable and something burnable to work. Once they do, they spit out the result every now and then. You can leave them alone while they do their thing, it’s pretty easy to spot when it’s done at a distance.

Sheep: Drops nothing.
Pigs: Drops porkchops.

Zombies: Drops feathers. Naturally. (I should add chickens. soon.)
To get flint and steel, you need to craft it. Where could you find flint? Hmm..

Made by me + all the awesome folks at Saccn's. Saccn, Hedgehog, Baldr, Sexualpanda, and that HALP cat.
Looks a lot like my ship on Venn's, except mine has it's cargo beneath the deck through a hatch. Mine also lacks the third floor, which I was going to add but then got too tired.
We are making a dock for it right now (I'm Hedgehog)

Also, I think I found something interesting. If you try and break rocks/minerals with anything other than a pick, you don't get any resources back.
Also, coal last longer than wood when used in a furnace.
I still feel like Notch should have approached this whole fire/flint and furnace thing differently. But oh well.
1 Piece of coal is enough for 8 bars of iron.

You do realise you make a furnace out of that recipe, and right click it and see an interface pop up.

Kinda destroyed the mountain in the progress. (Look at the sand and stone lines :v:)

Try "deep" when using float map type. It's really hard and challenging. I started on the highest floating isle, which had no vein at all. Now I managed to get 2 isles lower and started to find gold.[/QUOTE]
Getting to the deeper end is total shit as you almost always spawn at the upper part of the level.
I'd rather have square maps.
