Minecraft Thread V7 - Sniper Skeleton Edition - Games

Who likes the design so far? [url]http://www.redsupernova.net/[/url] It's going to be a quick design, I'm not going to put that much effort into it so I can start on skins. Tell me if you see anything wrong with the design, since people use Chrome, Opera, and sadly IE.

I've been interested in this game for a long time. The trouble is I just don't know my stance with this game. I've played it, built stuff and all but ultimately it is boring to me. Is Indev Survival good enough to motivate me to build stuff?

Well whenever I design a fortress, I always space everything evenly, where I place a dirt marker every four blocks, leaving 3 blocks in between each marker. [img]http://filesmelt.com/dl/C12.PNG[/img] This makes it easy to place evenly spaced fortifications. The blocks that are two pieces high give full cover to anyone behind them. The half blocks make it easy for anyone to get on top of the fortification and look over the edge, while also providing maximum view. [img]http://filesmelt.com/dl/C23.PNG[/img] These fortifications can also be easily converted to window slots, using the half block to provide maximum view, but also ensures no one can fall out of the window. [img]http://filesmelt.com/dl/C33.PNG[/img] Removing the half block gives you a door slot, which if placed high up, gives an archer the ability to lean over the edge and hit any enemies that are next to the wall. [B]February 20, 5:47 PM Goings on[/B] Hello. So that people do not assume I am deceased, I'm writing a simple few-sentence update to say that yes, I am still alive. I have been digging out the cave more and more, and have come to harder materials, from which I've made better mining tools. My sheep friend has been ravenously killing pigs and bringing me and herself pork chops, and, though I don't promote the random killing of pigs, I can't seem to stop her, and as well it's food on the table, so ah well to that. I haven't encountered any strange creatures yet. Thing are getting a bit boring 'round here. I will attach some of my drawings of the plant life and animal life to this entry later, once I finish them. As always, -J.D.
