I found the problem, it was my bad. The syntax was correct but I gave it a min and max of 60 and it threw an unhandled exception, so I gave it min 60 and max 61 and it worked with all blocks placed on 60.
Source vs choose your block to spam vs GUI
I bought it, holy shit InDev is awesome.
It is isn't it? I love it but I'm running out of ideas for shit to do pretty fast...I keep on building and adding on to my little fort but there's really no point of adding on to it and doing the same thing over and over, so I'm starting to get bored with it...
The only problem I'm having with it is the map I'm playing on, I've yet to find any caves, I selected floating.

I've never done GUI stuff. I'm half decent in c++

ALSO: Does ANYBODY know how to run two computers on the same network on a server hosted by said network? My buddy and i want to play on my own server at my house but I dont know hoe to get it to work. if it even can.

Connect the 2 computers to the internet, forward ports, host server? I don't see why it wouldn't work.
how do I forward ports? noob question I know just humor me.
[editline]12:56PM[/editline]
I tried this "If someone in the same network wants to connect to your server, that person will have to use the same link, but change the ip adress to the hoster's local ip adress. " but it just wouldnt connect
Is InDev survival mode?
Also, what do I need to craft some basic things?

your statement makes no sense.
So how about instead of trying to act clever you actually tell me the reason you have.
So teh zip file (or anybody else) do you have a suggestion on what to do next, or which direction i should head to find out why i cant connect two computers to my server.

It's off by default cause your OpenAL is fucked, Notch added this feature a couple of weeks ago. You need to fully uninstall your copy of OpenAL and install a new one. (DO NOT MISTAKE THIS FOR OPENGL)
tree fort
I want that in indev, right the fuck now.
seems all the servers in the OP are down

"Every time I turn on sound my game crashes"
That's why it's off, your openAL is broken, so notch had it mute itself if it crashes.

Well he should have said that in the first place instead of being like "Well maybe it's crashing for a reason hurr :downs:"

It was on the blog and on the Indev page for several times for christs sake, get over it.

Well maybe he didn't fucking see it, i sure didn't. I've only had the game for about 2 days now and i go on the blog every day and never saw anything about it, obviously he didn't eather.
Now i don't have the problem myself but am rather trying to defend the guy, maybe when he saw the solution he wasn't having the problem or maybe he didn't see it all, and this was his way of getting a quick and easy answer.
Well he should have said that in the first place instead of being like "Well maybe it's crashing for a reason hurr :downs:"
I said the sound is off for a reason.
The reason why is that it crashed him.
Ask questions about the server, get answers! http://livestream.com/andrewph

And did that post help him fix WHY he was crashing like he asked? No, he had to ask someone else.
And did that post help him fix WHY he was crashing like he asked? No, he had to ask someone else.
The fix is to not turn sound on.
The fix is to not turn sound on.
No,
You need to fully uninstall your copy of OpenAL and install a new one. (DO NOT MISTAKE THIS FOR OPENGL)
That is the fix.

Go to http://192.168.1.1, which should access your router, find the way to port forward, forward port 25565 (Or whatever port you have for hosting, that's the port by default) and it should work.
Google your router's name to find out how to port forward on it.
No,
That is the fix.
:downs:
The fix is to:
A: Keep it off
B: Reinstall OpenAL
Right. The topic is about minecraft. You got your bug fixed and everyone is happy. No need to argue about it.

Well technically the arguing is over Minecraft so yeah. :downs:
