The only 10-euros worthy crap is playing indev with friend - but not today, and not for 10 euros, but for 20 or even 40.
The only good server I found is TheOne's Lava flood server. But again, community is terrible - 12, even 8 years old players (ninja2k2, xdd98 or similar nicks) vote for new map because "lava flooded everything". Isn't it lava flood? Then when I say "But, guys, I put so much effort to my base, why change already?" "Stop whining, toothsick (uggh, my nick was trootsttk)" and then kicked.[/QUOTE]
I personally bought the game for insurance of future updates and to support a developer. It's in Alpha right now, be patient and let it get better instead of saying it's a horrible game. Also, look into Yumyum's server or make your own if you hate all of the others.

figured out paintings- a piece of cloth surrounded by 8 pieces of wood. paintings will randomly choose a size and shape, between 1, 2 (horizontal or vertical), and 4 squares, with random paintings.
He did, paintings. And you can mod those textures using paint.

Custom blocks and/or custom paintings/banners (only for users who have bought the game?) would be cool, you could be able to create stuff like that, and everyone else would see them.
And filesizes wouldn't be a problem, since the blocks have 16x16 textures, banners and paintings could be 64x64 at maxinum.

You can add your own texture in the files, just change the picture for the file in there, (IDK really how to do all this) but this is only for yourself, and if there was MP indev, you would be the only one seeing this change.

maybe not... it could save your paintings similar to how it does your skin, so when you join a server they are downloaded with you.
