Developers don't make sequels (or any addition to a series of games) and then totally change up everything about it. Why would they? The old formula works, so they'll just continue to build upon and improve that method to make a better experience each time.

Plenty of sequels (or prequels) are pretty much the same as the original, with additions and graphical overhauls, etc. It seems that because the series in question is Halo, people are mindlessly bashing it.

I used to have Halo 3 when i had a failbox, can see that from my XBL account over to the left somewhere. So i reckon im farirly capable of giving a legitimate opinion on it. Got halo 2 somewhere too. but i havent a clue where my original xbox was

I shot down a banshee which then bounced across the ground and killed one of my team mates.

He is just a troll. I love Halo. Always have. I dont really know why there are so many haters against it. It is basically an arcade shooter with a slowly dying storyline. But why buy halo for the story? I have had the most fun on any video from the halo series, online and with IRL friends. But some people just want to hate it, and insult the people who like it. I dont understand why. Ontopic: Whne me and my friend were playing 1v1 we were on last resort, I had just picked up the sniper in the little 2 story shack next to the large wheel. He was heading towards me from the opposite side of the wheel thing. I jump to the ground facing right at him. as we were running at eachother I flicked the thumbstick a little too far and pulled the trigger. The sniper bullet shot towards the staris. Off of one stair, through the stairs, bounced off another stair, then bounced off of the wall, then hit him in the head. Was my favorite kill.

On Bungies channel they have some really awesome beta kills like killing a Banshee with a armor lock.

Guys, really? Now, I can say I'm not a fanboy of Halo, I enjoy the games but I know they aren't the best. But they're fun to most people. And really, isn't that what a game is supposed to be? So if you don't like it, play a game that you think is fun. This is a thread about the game, for funny things from the game. It isn't a thread about how "Halo fanboys are hard to argue with", how "Halo Reach is just Halo 3 with new stuff", or making fun of Halo fans. So if you want to complain about Halo, make a thread about how much you hate Halo. If not, contribute. One time I was flying a Banshee on Valhalla, someone threw a power drain and brought me to the ground. When I landed I crushed 3 of the enemy team, the other two came up and stuck the Banshee. I jumped out, they died, and I got an Extermination.

For example Master chief could be a flaming homosexual psycho liberating the world from the evil grasp of the she-bitches. He then finds that his commander is straight and screwing the queen-bitch and he has to explode them with the power of rainbows and unicorn horns, Then he would go back to base ridong on a robot unicorn and then talk about boys with his homosexual friends and one of his friends would look ever so slightly disgusted hinting at another blockbuster sequel. The only big story in FPS before Deus Ex was Half-life.
