These are pretty nice.
I think a creeper went off in a skyscraper or something though, cus around 10 minutes in there was a huge hole in a building and THE ENTIRE MAP WAS UNDER 30 METRES OF WATER.
On that city survival map, I have myself boarded up in a restaurant and I'm scared as fuck because there are like 15 monsters outside.

Crouching and mobile torches I agree with, but for a map wouldn't you need to have all the chunks around you loaded? I mean, surely a compass or something that points towards "location nodes" would be better. You could bookmark locations by placing your own location node, and set them as either private or public. Private ones can only be bookmarked by you, public ones can be bookmarked by everyone. This way you need to have actually travelled somewhere to 'remember' where it is.

Nodes would be a craftable item of course.
Also, if you REALLY wanted to fuck someone over, you could find the nodes they'd made at their house and destroy them. Then, when they're lost in a forest or something, you can ambush them and take their moneyz.
He said crouching is a feature that will be added, just don't know when.
