Once you get some, make a forge, and put coal in the bottom and the ore in the top. Use the bars to make an iron pickaxe. Then look for diamond.

Played for about 20 minutes. Random generated map is fucking incredible. I found an island with 4 large mountains with a valley inbetween. Next to a mountain I saw a hole that went straight down into darkness.It looked like it went down for miles. I stuck a sign beside the hole and wrote "Hell's Mouth" I'm never going down there.
