"Two smooth stone blocks vertically equals a button, and produces an On signal for a while. 6 iron in the shape of a door creates an iron/steel door, only open when receiving an On signal. Wires, which are the red dust found near bedrock in newly generated areas, can be placed on the ground, these transmit signals. 3 smooth stone or wood horizontally creates a pressure plate, sends an On signal when pressed and disappears when there is no block under it. Stick under the wire 'dust' is a battery, transmitting a constant On signal. When the wire is stepped on, it disappears. TNT reacts to On signals by blowing up. Levers are one stick ontop of cobblestone and can be switched between On and Off signals. Curved tracks react to On and Off signals by flipping either to the the left or right." I changed my device around that captures animals and monsters, it's 2 blocks wide and it has a stream that sends anything in it down into a pit where it's 4x4 and I can watch them and laugh. They have no way of escaping :buddy:

You know what song goes well with this game? Saria's Song from Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time. WARNING: THE NOSTALGIA MAY KILL YOU AND IT'S VERY ADDICTING.

Has anybody had the glitch where all the light goes out? literally all I can see it the sun and moon, and torch tips. I am standing pricariously above lava to.

Okay, I hate to ask another question, as I feel by this point that I just come into this thread to ask questions because I can't fix stuff. But I cannot get sound in Alpha, it just blanks the screen when I try and turn sound or music on, my Java is at the latest version, any other solutions? It isn't too big a deal for me, but I'd like to have the noise.
I love the new snow, it encourages me to make cute little cottages instead of forts for some reason :buddy:
Yeah. The smow make me want mountains. NOT oversized hills. like mountains to where you could barely see both sides of it with far sight distance on. When I saw the snow I wanted to make a mountain cabin. But alas.....no mountains.
Where are Minecraft's game files? I'm using the downloadable client, and yes, I checked the OP.
