100% serious.
(What I think would be) Improvements for snow/the winter
During the winter, water hurts you
Footprints in snow
Flowing/dynamic water freezes (but still looks less blocky, like the usual flowing water)
Winter fog distance is always tiny, no matter your setting. Goes back to your setting when spring/summer
You go slower in snow
Snowshoes make you go normal speed in snow and on ice
Some mobs change skins depending on the season
Leaves are removed from trees (but branches are there instead)
Snow accumulates, getting higher the longer it snows
Snow hurts you if you're standing in it for 1.5 minutes
If you have 6+ armor, snow doesn't hurt you (the armor keeps you warm)
Any snow within a 5X5 radius of fires and a 3X3 radius torches melts
Putting a block on top of snow destroys the snow instead of making the placed block levitate
Destroyed snow can drop snowballs, which can be thrown at mobs for half a heart of damage
My suggestion: If you crouch while waking in the snow, you can make snow men :buddy:

I dunno, maybe it's magic steel.

9 snowballs = big snow ball
3 big snowballs = snowman
Also, all types of snowballs (and snowmen) melt in the summer.
Start a level, look around and I get this.

And it's snowing. Page king.

Notch needs to add storm clouds, it looks weird when it's a clear day with no clouds in the sky and it's snowing
BTW, we also need an update on the simplistic texture pack.

During the winter, water hurts you - Good
Footprints in snow - Good
Flowing/dynamic water freezes (but still looks less blocky, like the usual flowing water) - Could be cool
Winter fog distance is always tiny, no matter your setting. Goes back to your setting when spring/summer - Maybe only during snowstorms. Nights need to be darker though..
You go slower in snow - Only if it's deep
Snowshoes make you go normal speed in snow and on ice - Ehh... not on ice
Some mobs change skins depending on the season - Snow camo creeper? :v:
Leaves are removed from trees (but branches are there instead) - YES
Snow accumulates, getting higher the longer it snows - Yeah, but only during heavy snow
Snow hurts you if you're standing in it for 1.5 minutes - Only at night if you're naked, or in a snowstorm.
If you have 6+ armor, snow doesn't hurt you (the armor keeps you warm) - See above
Any snow within a 5X5 radius of fires and a 3X3 radius torches melts - It already does, doesn't it?
Putting a block on top of snow destroys the snow instead of making the placed block levitate - Oh my god this
Destroyed snow can drop snowballs, which can be thrown at mobs for half a heart of damage - This would be hilarious in multiplayer, but only if it did no damage.
You either need to generate a new map or change the snowcovered variable to 1 using nbtedit.

There were two chests buried under sand. One had two saddles, a bucket and some wheat. The other chest had iron and a bucket. And I got two free chests. :v:
thank you.
I will settle for this until my friend comes around to deciding if he wants to buy me minecraft or not.

I found a dungeon room in the side of a cliff once. It had a 1x2 door, so I just encased the spawner in sand and made it my base :v:.
Thought I'd update everyone on my (new) village.

This is the village.
Uou might wonder why I made such a huge map, I'll show you in the next one.

You see, I've been planting even thicker forests around the village, and I plan on making some really thick forest in the areas where I've encircled it with blue.
The yellow area is where I plan on removing all the trees (and use it as an area where I replant and chop it down sort of).
The red line is where I'm making a road, it's been clear cut a bit as you may notice it's awfully clean when the nearby area is so thick with trees.
I plan on building another village once I'm done with this one down there. Why? Because I have way too much spare time, and I fear the mine I'm in right now under the mansion is going to be too hollow (not that it really matters, but you need more mines to find all the good stuff and not just stone).
how would a COAL (burning material) powered freezer even work
fire consumes oxygen. When you have a fire contained in a space, it constantly draws in air from whatever sources it can muster. Technically speaking, if you made a series of thin metal pipes that a contained fire HAS to draw air through (like it's breathing through a straw or two), it may draw the air rapidly enough to provide a cooling effect on the pipes and anything near them.
Did you know that the back of a real fridge actually gets really hot? it doesn't work quite on that principle, but I'm trying to think simple "mincraft engineering" here.
