I use the wooden stairs for the roof on the building far south on the wall, and as you can see it renders them without any problems.
Have you guys tried clicking the map before you try f1-f5?

Really, they spawn like 10 at a time and they spawn everywhere, it's almost as if for each creeper/spider/skeleton/zombie, it will spawn 10 animals.

It's been fixed to work with stairs a while ago. It's other things, including snow, that breaks it. I just made a save yesterday, before the snow update and it won't load at all.
How do some people have spreading fires in their games? When ever I start a fire it usually dies once the tree I lit is burned to the ground.
I am done with minecraft until there is a ambient sounds option, fucking creepy.
Earlier I had like, zombies, spiders and skeletons underneath my garden, hissing at me and annoying the fuck out of me until I finally took a look around. Like 10 mobs came out from the darkness and I slayed them, then another ten or so. They wouldn't stop coming... I died a few times from creepers being part of the infestation. I finally placed torches all around the caverns under my garden so they'd stop fucking spawning so much.
